QuoteBut I do know that he's a multi-millionaire.

Presumably the Sin City films would have been the icing on the cake.

I would imagine they did, the comics were produced six weeks in advance of them appearing on the newsagents shelves. I'm pretty sure Steve didnt write the copy that went with his picture in Action, he just wrote about his stunts as Action Man, he didnt work for Action, he was a sub on Battle at the time.

Firstly, delighted you like it Colin. Its a fun bonkers story, with suitably creepy bits. Bradburys art is just perfect, he really is an unsung talent of British comics. I know he is popular but the amount and range of artwork he has done is incredible, Doomlord though is his best work and best written too.
The Ron Smith thing with Geoff's work, I have noticed it, for me its in Dragons Claws, more the inanimate stuff like cars and buildings. Great and underused artist.

Where did you hear that are reprinting the Titan run Hawk?

I am with Tim on this though, the Hawke collections are the very best, near the original size. The Man from nowhere for me is a must read comic.
The Dragons dream editions, binding issues aside, can be bought cheap and that have great reproduction and new framing art by Hampson. It collects the three essential Dare stories, Man from Nowhere, Rogue Planet and Reign of the Robots in three book. If you are thinking of dipping your toes in they are the ones I'd go for to begin. Plenty on ebay at varying prices, this looks reasonable(nothing to do with me either!)
