well i suppose if the person has been killfiled ( sniffle ) it means that the killfiler has taken the decision that they definately NEVER EVER want to recieve word from that hideous worthless being, so theres little point in you forwarding it, even if its like offering a job or a lift or sommat.

for me the point in the killfile is to stop e-mail spams, tho clearly people art using it for other reasons. So why make more work for yourself Wake, if someone has chosen to ignore & blank someone, then any lost information or potential jobs etc is their loss really.

I must admit tho, knowing someone can't see you does make it very tempting to pull all sorts of faces behind their back... mustt resisttt! nyrrrrggggggK!

Thats brilliant & like the man said better'n many a past imperfect.

I am reminded , sitting in A&E waiting room today (as you do ) i glanced thru a hello magazine ( honest it was just sitting there ) & was grossed out to discover that Nicolas Cage ( a hero of mine from fave film 'wild at heart' where he sings elvis ) , has married lisa-marie presley ( who looks just like her dad ). now our nick is a big elvis fan is he not, so he marrys the kings daughter ( many years his junior ) ... is that not creepy? wierd ? or what ?

i dunno, its all in the definician/define (damn my spelling), somebody writes something that catches the zeitgeist or some cultural mood at the time, others pick it up & run with it. then it gets overdone & becomes hackneyed cliche ridden tosh. When you think of the repressed times the original Conans were written in, all those heaving muscles & armour clad beauties seem such a breath of fresh air, but in our jaded de-sensitised times of course its just a yawn fest.

i think a problem is that pulp fantasy, writes just to have dragons dwarves & buxom princesses in, above & beyond they have nothing to say. The whole point of writing is saying something new. every scene, setting, scenario has been done already. we live in times which have run out of ideas.

or was that just me.

i don't know what went wrong with fantasy, i digested all the sci-fi classics as a young juve then moved onto the newly blossoming fantasy thing & then got bored before it had grown up enough to be pigeon holed 'fantasy'..
i mean in theory this stuff is TOTALLY up my street, so when, why & how did it become so utterly dull & geek infested ? in theory swords, axes & silver breast plate should be my weapon of choice.

I don't consider Slaine to be fantasy as such, as its too close to actual legend/myth.

yes there is room for everything in 2K as long as it doesnt fit in pigeon holes, crosses the boundaries & kicks ass.... sorry arse.
