I just watched Fear & loathing last night, inspired by this thread. Bonkers brilliant!
AT first i was rolling around laughing saying oh i didn't know it was a funny, but then the fear & loathing kicks in, ewwww yukky. unbelievable, so how did MR Gillian explain that to the Drugs squad, " well sir i extroplated the feel & look of the film from the accounts of others sir, i never touched any gov'"  the first bit in the reptilian bar was too close to Glastonbury 85 to be funny.....

Brazil is fantastic & a much under shown film, i mean theyve screened 4 weddings & a sodding funeral 58 times yet ive only seen brazil twice. Its great.

yeah who is Molly ?

i once scooped up all the dead midges from one night off a window sill & they filled a match box...those of you who have encountered will understand a) they are very small
b) the bitey pain implications of having this number of the little suckers getting in thru door cracks etc.

however i didn't eat them for breakfast. mebbe midges is why middenface has a lumpy heid ?

koeewwwll.

Edinburgh; that'll be nutso, i never had the anti claustrophobia & ghosties nerves to go down the vaults when i was a student living there. i gather theyve made one part of it all touristy recently ? I just find it nuts that theres a time capsule old town under the new. I used to hang around a flat on the high street there a lot & talk about haunted !! even the sceptics would hear the clonks & bangs & get the back of the neck thing. Me ? babys crying, women screaming, laughter, a wifey in a long dress walking right thru me etc etc the works. shudder.

LONDON TUBE; as a tourist, its part of londons maddness which has to be done. last time me & the kids went to great lenghts to try & corrupt the non speaky po-faced ness thing, our mission to boldly encourage eyecontact or even a smile. after 3 days tho, it becomes an alien surreal headfry. The rats are the nice wildlife reality moment for me.
'member the paris under ground, every so often you'd glimpse stations below stations which hinted at other underground carverns below & below. all very wierd.

oh yeah & completely off-topic (but not) i got lost in wookey hole aged around 4 (before it was all touristified) that was perculiar to say the least.

Good grief !! i'd love to know more, this is a draconian outrage !....

mind you,( irrelevant tale popps into head) there was a few years back & i was in a invernesses equivalent to the mall, the then EB store had a window display for i think it was resident evil, which featured dummy limbs severed heads & fake gore, i'm sure the lads who did it had a hoot however... now i am not mrs censorship, but this appauled me as it was only 2 doors down from early learning centre & totts were roaming the vicinity, it was too irresponsibly in yur face.

what people dismember in the privacy of their own games console is not my business.
