me, since quitting work all but one day a week, ive been working flat out at other stuff, which is great ! my off topic whitterings are now blogged up, non troll types who like pictures of fire engines, mail me for the addy !

when i have dipped in to the board, i've found it rather monosyllabic & humourless a place of late, would try 2000adreview for interesting stuff, but busy.

hopefully catch up properly at bristol with lovely shiney happy people.

" it has been aledged animals DID die in the trials and it might not have been entered into the research properly."

ooops.

well ive now earned ?2.05 at Ciao.com filling in bastard surveys.  i think some folks on this thread underestimate the skintness of some people, i knew students doing these tests & lordy knows i'd've been tempted myself if i wasnt so old n precious about health & life & anti-medication, even an asprin sends me off kilter. Its still a better idea than crime or prostitution. Imagine being young & immortal & not giving a shit about future health. easy money for sure.

i can do basic animated Gifs in fireworks fine, would the ulead handle a whole short film ? ive got all these ideas, but not techy knowhow. Ive got adobe after affects.  is there 'video' type editing software that would handle frame by frame dropped in images, or is flash the most grown up film making thing?

well i'm completely with Bear if we're being sensible, i wish there were more Emo, goth, rock, punk alternative kids around here, as the majority red-neck ignorant sports nazi ned types have all the dysfunction & none of the sensitivity. Theres a line between expressing & wallowing though, and I worry that in an effort to help self harmers, & remove the stigma, its come bloody fashionable.

theres an mental health advert on just now, probably scottish " see me i'm a person " it talks about self harm, but NO-WHere does it say, get help, stop doing it.

" oh woe, my life is hell
everytime i post on a message board,
sarcastic, snide remarks are made,
oh woe, why must they follow & have a go,
whats their problem, is it cos my art is shit?
oh woe , i really give a rats arse,
ah me ah my, i'm so depressed about it,
i wish i could kick them in the nads & spit in their popped out eyeball,
but theyre too far away,
and i'm rather busy & violence is not emo enough
ah me ah my"

General / Re: Question for all you artists (...
07 March, 2006, 07:06:07 PM
well i think simons stuff still comes out colourful in print compared to the shiney happy originals..

it can't be just computeronics that dull things down a bit as say Chris Blythes colourings are pretty shiney bright in places, is it just that the artists highlighed by our Mr Dudley have a more painterly glop it on with dollops of virtual dash gloomy atmospheric type style ?

i'm always frustrated with these pixel guys that we can't get to see the " original ". guess i'm just a ludite.

me , i can't get my brain around how blk & white reproduces, so i'll get my coat.
