I haven't renewed it since prog 1467 or whatever it was, november last year anyway. Is the quality of the mag worth my re-subscribing?

Cheers,

James

Amazing. Mind you, things like Quorn and whatnot are basically artificial meat as it is.

Not sure about the cd idea - the site caters for that pretty much. A badge or two wouldn't go amiss though!

Yeah, and the cover for the next issue wasn't exactly fantastic, if I remeber rightly! All the caballistics covers seem to have been done by either Frazer Irving or Clint Langley (not one of my favorite artists, it must be said). Shame, that.

Re-reading Hewligans' Haircut (a wonderful comic if ever I read one), and the complete Caballistics inc. Now, on first reading in serial format, this strip passed me by a bit; I found it difficult to keep track of the characters or take more than a passing interest in the story. Reading it as it stands now was a real revelation - masterful storylines, big surprises, wonderful art (I have a great sketch Dom Reardon did for me of Jonathan and Jennifer at last year's Bristol festival) all leading up to a some sort of explosive climax involving Mr. Magister. Anyway, I like this story, and it definately improves with age, and deserves to be re-read.

I'm going to re-read all of the V.Cs, Zenith, Button Man and Avatar next - should keep me in good stead, hopefully negating the risk of extreme thrill-deprivation! Ah, 2000ad. Wonderful.
