Yuh, it's enjoyable enough. Smirksome rather than laugh out loud with a rather sweet ending. Even Ewan MacGregor asking what a Jedi is, didn't annoy.

You'll just have to take my word for it mine own entry made complete sense when I posted it.

Anyhow, I've decided a strict adherence to some extraterrestrial pleasuring is the only way I'll be able to decide, so . . .

1, Legendary Shark 01 ("Who could you love?" indeed, Mr. McCoy)
2, Mangamax (it looks like a cock. Admittedly, a horribly malformed cock but a cock nonetheless)
3, Pete Wells (for sheer wrongness)

Nope. It's sci fi at a stretch, definitely not horror.

Possibly Japanese but definitely of east Asian origin. It has a contemporary setting (the '90s if not the Noughties) and tells the tale of a young woman co-existing as two different versions of herself, one straight-laced, the other more extroverted. Best way I can think to describe it is SLIDING DOORS meets THE MAN WHO HAUNTED HIMSELF.

ANN AND ANNA seems to be the closest I've come to remembering the title but an online search has returned bugger-all.

Overall, it's not altogether the triumph it's being touted as. MOON's an interesting story that should have been told better. Sam's initial reaction to his other self seemed too accepting and the main plot twist (once revealed) lacked directorial gravitas. GERTY also didn't quite work for me, due mainly to Kevin Spacey. It's HAL 9000 as voiced by Dean Martin; an idea that's not unappealing but seemed wrong here (as it would've been most definitely for 2001: A SPACE ODDITY).

The lack of CGI, however, makes it visually more impressive than just about anything else of the genre I've seen this year. I'm also a sucker for sparseness and long silences. I'd certainly much rather see something more thoughtful like this that isn't entirely successful than just the mainstream shit that usually passes for sci fi that can't be arsed.

T'was burnt almonds, yes. As it's (The Book of) Revelation [singular noun] ;)

You're right, though. THE FIFTH HORSEMAN was easily the weakest script from which Jose worked before EAGLE was downgraded to bog paper. It had none of the post-apocalypse bonkersness of THE TOWER KING, nor the nightmarish surrealism of THE HOUSE OF DAEMON.

As lovely as the art was, I did start skimming through the story; only going back to read whatever the latest episode was if something interesting looked like it might be happening. I think I started reading the strip briefly again once I noticed there were robots. With TV antennae for heads.
The evil supercomputer
was crap, though. Even as a nine year-old, I found the lack of the anyone bearing three sixes a major disappointment.

Or am I getting it confused with John Talbot's timeline in the 1984 JUDGE DREDD ANNUAL?

When exactly was it made canon that Joe and Rico were accelerated clone births? I seem to recall Tharg coming up with some guff about it in the Nerve Centre after 'Mutie the Pig' contradicted 'The Return of Rico'; but, as far as I can remember, it wasn't ever made official in the strip prior to when I stopped being a regular Squaxx (Prog 764).

You're referring, of course, to Jim's Mum, Mrs. Brucie Campbell, yes?
