Did anyone see this? Did anyone think it was any good?

I thought it was O.K. accept:

1). Every small detail was turned into a moral debate.
2). Obviously a stage play.

Generally good performances all round, but I don't think that it was the "event" television that the HBO obviously intended it to be...

All you clairvoyants out there, get ready, as I'm about to see who the most popular boarder is going to be this time next month! Here are the asinine rules:

1). You must never have ever so much as said the name of the boarder out loud, let alone talked to them.

2). No droids, in fact no anyone that's ever written anything that's been read by anyone ever. No essays, no books, no letters, no memos, no nothing. To Death.

3). No, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO.

4).Completely ignore rules 1,2 and 3 ;)

P.S. I am fully aware that stuff written in jest can sometimes seem like a personal attack...

This morning, in school, the whole of my year had a "citizenship" morning in which each form pretended to be a country and we had to "trade" with other countries in order to make paper money...

You'll never get guess who got completely carried away, writing notices saying "we f**k the poor" on one country, and holding people hostage...

Can anyone suggest ways of calming down?...

Has anyone noticed that Cadbury's have discontinued Taz bars and now have "Freddo with caramel" instead. Cadbury's are obviously fleecing us because Freddo is a smaller shape than Taz and thus there is less chocolate and caramel for our hard-earned ten pence...

Anyone else been fleeced recently?

I've always wondered: How many Street Judges are supposed to be out at any one time? And What happens in the event of loads of Judges being massacred in terms of policing the city in the aftermath of said massacre?

In 12 days time the most sickening day of the year comes around. This thread is for those who find the whole spectacle depressing/fake/a gross symbol of Western consumerist arrogance/just plain vucking annoying. Any thoughts?

Has anyone seen the "Advanced Hair Studio" advert that lasts for 3 minutes and details the "strand-by-strand process" for hair gain?

It was on really early in the morning, and it started off with Graham Gooch and Austin Healey, but then had a load of people called "Mr I.T, Businessman" on it.

I can't figure out if it was a joke or not because it was so bad.

Who, in your opinion is the best videogame developer of all time. I'm talking about individuals as well as companies. After mucho deliberation i decided on Treasure, but only after eliminating Namco (some of their games are too short), Hideo Kojima ( Four words:Metal. Gear. Solid. Two.), Codemasters (Some rubbish licenced games) and Squaresoft (Aside from Einhander, they aren't much good outside of RPG's).Please, no joke suggestions such as 3DO or Miyamoto....

I don't wish to sound like some boring git who moans about everything, but that stupid woman off Pap Idol is at no.1. She is the single worst "pop star" ever.

Whilst doing some research, I came across an American who thought that William Blake's poem "The Sick Rose" was about the movie "Titanic". This is wrong for a number of reasons (It just IS o.k). What's the biggest example of internet idiocy YOU'VE ever seen?

Yesterday, my relationship with my brothers and sisters reached an all time low. As soon as my eldest brother (who's younger than me) got in he began to take the piss out of me. I went up to his room to lecture him but he tried to attack me with a digeridoo. My younger brother left a pile of free newspapers outside in the rain and he couldn't be bothered to bring them in, so when I went to lecture him he screamed at me at the top of his stupid potato-headed voice. I had to tidy the house and not one of them lifted a solitary finger to help me. As soon as my eldest sister (who's also younger than me) came in she gave me a lecture on how I'm a "fat disgusting freak". To top it all off I had to trudge halfway across Newport Pagnell in the rain to pick my youngest sister up from Brats Brigade, and she was generally an evil prima-donnaish cow.

Why, oh why did I have to be the eldest of five children? My parents have only just realised that I am actually the responsible one.

Does it get any better in adulthood?  

Did anyone see CITV's new show "Ministry of Mayhem" on Sat? If you didn't, you're lucky, it's rubbish. It has about as much mayhem as a Tory conference. I am now presented with the choice of Dick and Dom (too much to take in for me). MOM, or the full, apoclyptic horrors of T4 saturday with Vernon (kill) and June(aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh). The Dan Dare cartoon on Five is too fuzzy to work out most of the time.

Yesterday in MK I was greatly amused to see the sight of a pikey juve being ejected from a shopping complex. I half wanted him to be carted off in some sort of police van. I also wanted the burly security guard to wallop him with a daystick. Does anything like this happen to you?
