Ooooh, good question, and a good excuse to rummage through old CDs...

Faith No More- A Small Victory(or Midlife Crisis, awesome!)
Alice In Chains- Would?
Soundgarden- Rusty Cage
Pearl Jam- Black
Therapy?- Die Laughing
White Zombie- Thunder Kiss '65
Everclear- Heartspark Dollarsign
Def Leppard- Animal
Radiohead- Climbing Up The Walls
Tool- Prison Sex
NIN- Gave Up
Prince- Diamonds And Pearls

As well as the already mentioned Comfortably Numb, Head Like A Hole, NWO, good choices!

I really enjoyed it, saw it as quite seperate from the book and enjoyed it as a different thing. Like Jim I cried at seeing the Valerie part realised so well, and the only major criticisms I had were Portman's accent and the little anti-surveillance devices they used to talk privately were WH Smith's booklights. I've got one.

I had no idea there was a series! I maybe hadn't been born yet. As for the Buck Rogers totty factor, I do remember watching it when I was very young and feeling...strange.

Looks pretty stunning, not usually big on historical epics but the style of it means I'll probably enjoy it. Always thought that NIN track would be perfect in a movie, most of that album would actually.

Just thought I'd spam this place up by saying that my band You Already Know have our debut EP  out on CD now through Hijacked Records. It'll be distributed nationwide in a couple of weeks but in the meantime it's available online and I know Avalanche Records are stocking it in Glasgow and Edinburgh. There's also a white label 7" single available for anyone with a turntable.
Thanks for reading this spamfest, it's a pretty bid deal for me so wanted to spread the word!!!

You can listen to the tunes on our myspace page at www.myspace.com/youak

Torchwood trailer was the highlight really. Was an enjoyable enough show to have on during tea but pretty ropey. Bobbins Hood I say, but passable bobbins.

I'm looking forward to giving the first episode a try as like paulvonscott I've started to get pretty weary of Lost so would be nice to have something to sit down to weekly. So I'm hoping against hope that it's good! Have to say though, without wanting to spoil anything BSG-related, having seen the full 2nd series I found that halfway through it got amazingly good so stick with it!

Quite enjoyed that, it does have a faint whiff of chedder but he's done a pretty good job of recording something that sounds reasonably contemporary but still sounds like a Bond theme. Always love Cornell's voice too.

Books & Comics / Re: What's your favourite magazine...
28 September, 2006, 02:05:25 AM
To be honest the only magazine I read regularly is the xbox360 official mag, it's not even a particularly great mag but it's my console of choice so I like to know what's happening. My other half is hooked on movie mags so I get to skim through Empire, Total Film etc as well but the 360 mag is the only one I buy.

I just watched "The Explorers" so I'm ready to belive anything, so I think it's real.
