Only albums I have are "Dos Dedos Mi Amigos"(I think that's right) and the best of, of which I don't fancy disc one much but disc two is fantastic. "Ich Bin Ein Auslander" is da bomb, word.

I was really hoping for a syringing as I was looking forward to seeing all the crap they would get out of there! Unfortunately turned out to be an ear infection so it?s antibiotics instead. Had felt really sick too but figured it was unrelated but apparently it?s motion sickness because my inner ear is a bit screwy. The body is a strange thing!Had no idea there were so many ear experts on here?

Ah! I had a bath before I went to bed and it was when I woke up I couldn't hear so you may have pinned the tail on the donkey there!

Cheers for the advice! Am going to call the NHS in the morning. I know it may have seemed like a weird thing to start a topic about but am sitting in on my own tonight and losing my hearing was an idea that freaked me out big time. Is reassuring to know that it's likely something that the doctor can sort out, and I can stop panicking until then! Cheers,

Cheers for the advice Auntie! Was really just panicking and looking for some words of reassurance and you've given me enough to relax for this evening...

Ha, yeah I know, just obviously can't go see a doctor tonight! Was just drunk and clutching at straws that someone may have prior experience of a similar medical problem, on the off chance you know. Just a bit worried and freaked out so sorry for asking a dumb question. My pharmacist girlfriend's answer was to pour cooking oil in my ear which just gave me a greasy pillow.

Help! / anyone ever gone a bit deaf?

Woke up yesterday and couldn't hear a thing in my right ear. Thought nothing of it, figuring it would pop as the day went on as I've fucked my ears slightly before from playing in bands for years but it's nw a day later and I'm still stone-deaf in one ear. Getting a bit freaked out so was wondering if anyone has had this happen that can assure me it's a temporary condition as I'm pretty worried...

That logo was designed to be a bad tattoo, although once the hair grows back no-one's going to see it anyway.

Personally I thought it looked great and I'd make a deal with the devil to be able to draw like that. Granted not on a par with your current stuff though.

The other reason they have a lot of callcentres in Scotland is because Scottish law is slightly different when it comes to setting up verbal contracts. Just a bit of trivia there.

Spotted this in Virgin the other day and nearly bought it but then had an impulse that it would be better to put it down, walk away and pretend it didn't exist.

General / Bad news for Tool fans?
20 August, 2006, 04:55:31 PM
I know there's a couple of Tool fans on here so thought this might be of interest. A friend of mine who works for the promoters of the Glasgow Tool gig is claiming that this is the last UK tour as they'll be splitting up once they've finished touring this album. Apparently the intel came from their tour manager but I'm hoping it's just the bollocks that it sounds like. Said friend is now talking to the hand as I don't want to hear anymore of their spiteful lies.

On the good news front, their new newsletter has the full lyrics to "Rosetta Stoned" which are even more barmy than I thought...

Link: http://www.toolband.com/newsletter/" target="_blank">It's the yellow bit half way down, genius!

Is it just me or is Malone very History Of Violence in it's reveal of the hero's asskicking-ness? Really enjoying it all the same, should be a character with an interesting backstory.
Dredd was great too, was pretty shocked to see him get laid out like that, and as Pete mentioned it's nice that it doesn't come with a thought bubble about how slow he's getting in his old age.
Hate to say it but have lost interest in Dante a bit and skimmed through it just to get to the end.
Banzai was good fun and there was some nice gore in Stone Island. Could all the grislyness be a result of the things it's been built on top of? If it's an indian burial ground I'll be disappointed.

General / Great news for Spurrier fans...
18 August, 2006, 06:38:49 PM
Hadn't noticed this mentioned here yet(apologies iof it's old news) so thought I'd start a thread...
Si Spurrier has apparently gone and got hisself a 2 novel publishing deal with big swanky publishers Hodder Headline and the first book, called "Contract" should be out next year. As a big fan of his comic writing I find this pretty exciting as he's obviously got the potential to do something pretty special. Also I look forward to reading the book and then passing it onto friends who maybe wouldn't read comics, which might also open more people up to his writing who might then check out the 2000AD stuff.
So yeah, major kudos to him, hopefully the other Spurrier fans here are as excited as me about reading it!
