Cheers Tom, enjoy that £1.20 - may I suggest a paper mask and some disinfectant seeing as Em'bro is under bio-attack?

Let's start the week with a bit of agression from the auteur who brought us 'Letters to the Green Dude'. Creator challenges letters page trolls to a square go? That's the kind of excitement you can expect when the author of 'Letters to the Green Dude' writes to the Green Dude.

No.31 :  Gordon Rennie Meg 64 (Vol 2.41)

If Gordon is out there perhaps he can tell us how things turned out. Did the resolution play a part in Matt and Slaneo disappearing from the letters landscape?

What Buttonman said.

That's an excellent stance right there.

Cracking skull - really maniacal!

The hands are maybe a bit too human for 'Classic' Mortis but I appreciate he may have just inhabited a fresh body! Here's the gold standard.

Way to backhandedly challenge The Beast!

Darren's scribing career started with this moribund effort from Meg 62 (Vol 2.42) :

He upped the ante with this mighty missive from Meg 98 (Vol 2.78)

His last effort was sighted in Meg 107 (Vol3.04)

Like his drawing career Darren floundered after 3 letters - still there's nothing to stop you picking your pencil and crayons (unless you have developed some horrible disease, in which case - sympathies). Good luck Darren!

Ha, these are great! lol:

They certainly are, and forget that LOL the Beast lives for this kind of thing.

Colouring in Droid Darren started his 2000ad career with this effort from Prog 555 :

Some readers have said recently that Dredd's teeth are on the small side - check out the gnashers on this fellow! Also what's happening with that respirator? Runner up? Run out of town would be fairer!

Not to be put off young Darren came back 6 months later with this offering from Prog 583 :

Some terrible grammar there not to mention some copyright issues.

His last effort came in Prog 615 :

We quite like this Anderson and it's certainly quite long.

But was this the last we saw of Darren? Normally a Portsmouth man did he travel the 168 miles to Walsall in time to write this letter for Prog 720?

Darren also has 3 Megazine letters to his name - possibly the largest art and letters haul in Beast history!

The Academy got hit hard in the Apocalypse War and Necropolis so I'm sure they'll bounce back. Hope not though - past epics have had a couple of clean up episodes - 'Meka City', 'Theatre of Death', 'Return of the King' etc. before the reset button is hit. Let's have 20+ years of hurt!

For shame! Mike deserves better than this! All you freeloaders who've expolited his badger and name generator programmes are basically thieves!

I went to Amazon fully intending to buy, but it is not out until next week and not available for Kindle! I then thought of buying 'The Ascention' instead but the paperback is £5.03 and the Kindle £8.94! I know you're Irish Mike, but to finish this sentence would be totally racialist!

I don't normally read young adult fiction (I like Matt Scudder books and Twighlight fan-fic) but Mike wouldn't sell us a pup, would he?!

I have therefore spunked a fiver on the Ascention book and will report back.

Good luck with it Mike!

'Sternhammer Block' - lovin' it! Getting a real bit excited about this and not just because 'Real 3-D' means I can save £1 with my 'Avatar' glasses!
