Nobody buy the Sun 'round here? Under the headline 'Doc's away' it 'reveals' that Tennant is to leave mid 4th season, ie. the one after this one. They give the usual typecasting reason.

It also says they want this guy to replace him...

C'mon next to the Little Britain Abroad bag o' shite it was a veritable hotbed of new ideas. Poor old Steve Coogan getting involved. I'm watching 'Knowing Me ,Knowing Yule' again to make up for it's undeniable shittiness.

Segways and I agree they were totally pointless - why would a secret underground base have freely available (and the exact number needed!) transport available for anyone who popped down the manhole? The whole underground tunnels bit was lifted straight from the first Austin Powers film.

Another point would be the rampant use of the sonic screwdriver - Must have been 10 uses if there was one.

No actual 'bovvered' but Tate's limited range means it's hard to see beyond her standard shouty character.

Reasonable entertainment but generally a disappointment. Tennant's two tricks - madcap and shouty were trumped by Tate's super shouty and repeat everything three times powers. I knew she was a one off assistant but when the permanent offer was made I was still 'Gawd no!'.

We're a lazy Tesco delivery household and always enjoy the replacements for unavailable stuff. 'We have no lamb chops so have enclosed a hair dryer'.

Do board members tip the Tesco man? I wouldn't dream of tipping the Amazon delivery man but usually give the Tesco bloke £2. I think it's to ease the embarassment over my laziness.

As if I'd say 'fuck' at this time of advent. Fook is the seasonally accepted varient, especially as I'm wearing my Bo' Selecta Mel B costume.
