Film & TV / Deja Vu : Spolier Central

I do apologise, I'm used to the old fashioned school of spoiler warnings. I've now changed the title and tried the new spoiler technique using a random phrase, smuttily culled from your very own posting
I just have a rather large penis and it's kind of hard
I'd have said they were excessive spolier warnings. Two count 'em. One in bold and lots of chevrons. I think you just wanted to look. Bet your presents are all ragged at the edges through your rampant curiosity!

I'll just copy over my own posting. Disregard the 'not worth it's own thread' bit. Clearly I was in error!

Not worth it's own thread but I saw Deja-Vu today and it was quite enjoyable.

Spoilers>>>>>>>>>>>>>

For a while I thought they were going the Alpha route of 'time claimimg his own' with lots of avoided events becoming true through different means.

But then...

BIGGEST SPOILER>>>>>

Denzel saved the day and everyone's lives. Except his own. Except 'future' Denzil showed up as present Denzil and all was well. Entertaining but the folding space and seeing 4 days and six hours in the future once only and you can't record it McGuffin took some swallowing.

That trailer had more fast cuts than Freddie Kruger having a wank!

The trailer looks like principal photography has been completed but they are still waiting for the CGI stuff from the chemists.

Not impressed with what has been seen so far. No wonder Soundwave is looking for alternative employment.

No deaths counted. I rated that encounter on my personal scale as one count of vegicide.

122,328 would be sizable. Anything less would be deemed 'moderate'.

To be clear the scale is as follows:

1 - 20 = Disturbance
21 - 50 = Old Firm match
51 - 300 = Half price Bailey's Irish cream Night
301 - 1000 = Kicking Off
1001 - 100,000 = Full scale Bru-ha-ha
100,001 - 122,327 = Moderate
122,328+ = Mega Epic

I do beg pardon, I do of course mean Faro's tomb as in Filmore Faro the Garbage God. There again I may have stumbled accross another Origins secret!

The Judge Child Quest did have a prophesised threat to the city as well as a sizable body count - those war games alone must have added a few 'ooo's to the counter. And The Thing got a few and the slave uprising at Fargo's tomb had plenty. And Lopez and the jigsaw dude and Sagbelly...

The question related to 'Mega-Epics' and that clearly disqualifies 'Mandroid', 'Mechanismo' and even the venerable 'The Pit'.

My own personal definition is that there has to be massive loss of life and a threat to the city to gain the 'Mega - epic' tag. 'Origins' qualifies as it has both albeit in the past tense.
