General / Re: Ipswich Serial Killer Arrest -...

Littlejohn is just like 'Johnathan Ringpiece' in Viz who did anything possible to appear controvertial. I used to like his and Garry Bushell's columns when they were in the Sun but only in an ironic he's being contrary kind of way. Sadly many regard the likes of Littlejohn as suitable prime minister material and enjoy hitting the prison van with copies of his wisdom as they go INTO court.

As far as the first suspect's myspace stuff I'm sure this would be regarded in the public domain. Whether the guy can get a fair trial depends on finding twelve people who've been living down a hole for a month.

The media coverage has been shocking. Today we had George Angala (?) telling us it was cold, a tarpaulen had been put up and there was no further info. Why he and dozens of others have to stand out on the street to tell us this I don't know.

It was also  deplorable them interviewing a victim's father and asking gems like 'How does it feel?'.

As for the second suspect I'm sure he did it - you should hear the music they played and the newsreader's expression.
(thanks Homer Badman)

Think I said that. Twice. You're just like the people who bang the side of vans going into court, jumping to conclusions without reading what has been written. Remember that.

He does look a bit like Ralph Fiennes when he was in Red Dragon, albeit in a silly hat.http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c118/button71/_42364851_stephens_myspace_203.jpg">

General / Ipswich Serial Killer Arrest - Myspace Friend

Good to see the police have made an arrest in the Ipswich serial killer case, even if only to stem the flow of sick jokes.

Of course the guy arrested has been convicted of nothing but the BBC website stuck up a photo of him from his myspace page. Being a nosey git I tracked it down. I see he only has 7 friends - wonder why! Some of his photos look a bit sinister - especially him holding up a tin of 'Bird's' - which one?

Innocent until proven otherwise and to be on the safe side I'm taking down my myspace pic showing my many chins in case it too ends up in the mass maedia.

I'm going out on a limb here, but it is the season of goodwill and all so here goes. If Sian Lloyd wants to climb in, there is a good possibility that I won't kick her out of bed.

Oh wait, it's the phone...

I used to be the same Jimbo and thought everyone else let the buses run by them before they could read the destination plates, just like me. The sharp contrast when I first got lenses was amazing and I saw what I was missing out on. Life's too short to squint when a remedy is available.

Cheers. It is worth doing and is now half the price that I paid for it, but it's not without it's pitfalls. My pal Chappy suffered a detached retina flap and they had to abort the operation one eye in. They did refund his cash and did the operation for free once it had regenerated so he thought it a good result overall!

My experience was entirely positive and I'd highly recommend the Lasik treatment that I had.

Have a look at my great Doo-Yoo essay on the subject - it won a £1.50 crown!

It is of course a fatties story but you'd need a few more story details to pin it down.

The link is to the League of Fatties story which is most likely, but there have been several subsequent appearances for our portly pals notably Arnold Stodgeman and Two Tonne Tony Tubbs.

Good luck with your project. I already dip in and out of here and 2000adreviews' forum so I have no spare capacity for further boarding.

Well unless I give up porn, and that's not going to happen!

I'm sure we can offer easy terms on a transfer of Byron Virgo if you are interested.

Hee hee Gopher Smith indeed.

I thought Australian Christmas TV would be all The Ashes and Steve Austin. Same thing really. Unless they buried him.

Once again Byron you show your foolishness to a wide audience. The Love Boat, or VD Boat as it was known in my house, was a cringeworthy, laughter tracked piece of crap where everyone got laid. We all know that doesn't happen, eh comic fans?

The best show of that era would have to be 'Soap', especially when Burt got replaced by an alien with humerous consequences.

Good points TordelBack - FYI and only because the book is still om my desk the lecturer is Dr Brunhauer!

Spoilers>>>>>>

She does have a bit of the Zelig about her with famous folk drifting by on a regular basis. I suppose her saving the king rat and as a result allowing the destruction of worlds must also add to the myth.

As for best bits I love the Glyph's sacrifice and the 'Nobody died today' line. There was a great star scan of them erecting his/her memorial. They should have had that in the book but must have forgot.
