Only my ears. I pierced someone else's nipple once, with a safety pin, we where both extremely pissed and it took forever to get it to go through! He was very proud of it, showing it to anyone who would look at it all night.

I've just been sorting mine into some boxes I bought from Argos, the fits not perfect but better than what they where in. Then they're put in the loft.

Hey Floyd, have a good un. My family's just come back from Noosa, my inlaws live there, one of my older kids is there at the minute on a years working holiday, the other one's come back but is desperatly trying to save the air fare to go back. Noosa's a beautiful part of the world, bit cold at the moment though, apparently!

And as for people who get them after seeing celebs with them....I don't think they shoudl be allowed to vote, let alone get inked.

I've got to say, that's probably the most sensible thing anyone on this board has ever said. Ever!

Interesting news report on Radio 1 this lunch time. Apparently loads of people have been getting tattoos because the likes of David Beckham, Robbie Williams and Davina McCall have them, and then regretting them almost immediately. Vin Diesel admitted that all his tattoos in his films are fakes (surprise surprise). Laser treatment clinics are making a bomb removing unwanted tattoos! If you want a tattoo, get one because you want one, not because some celeb has one!

I immedietly assume they have gone through at least a period of mental instabilty

Hey PVS, bugger knows what you must think of me then! I accept and appreciate you POV, we're all entitled to our own. I can see exactly where you're coming from, tattoos are not everyones cup of tea. The way I look at it is they are part of what make me who I am. I went through a part of my life, not a period of mental instabilty, although that was never medically proven, where tattoos where what I wanted to do, and I had tattoos that meant something at the time, although I also had a couple that where just taken from the tattooist's book, those couple if I was having done again I'd probably change, but the others I'd keep the same, even the one on my head. I spent years trying to hide the one on the side of my head as I was very conscious of what people may have thought about me, but as I became more and more folically challenged, that became more and more difficult. In the end I thought f*** it, everyone knows the tattoos there so why not "get it out", so I started to shave my head! That was rather a liberating experience, the tattoo is on display all the time and people either accept it or not. Personally I couldn't give a monkey's now whether people like it or not. The one thing that does piss me off though is people make assumptions, the worse one I've had is that because I had skulls tattooed on my head, someone thought I was a member of the National Front!! That was probably the worse insult someone could have thrown my way. People make assumptions without any basis, what's the old saying, never judge a book by it's cover! I've had a couple more tattoos in the past couple of years and I'll probably have a couple more in the next couple of years, doesn't make me any less or more of a person, doesn't make me any more mentally unstable that yourself. I'm sure there's many a person out there that thinks there's something less than stable about people who spend alot of their time in front of a computer conversing with people they don't know about comics!

Anyway, I hope that all makes sense, it's not meant to be a rant, and I do know where you're coming from. Even though I don't agree with your POV!

Other Reviews / Re: Cube 2: Hypercube
05 August, 2004, 01:48:04 PM
Cube is one of my wife's favorite films, and she's not into sci-fi at all!! She has watched it about half a dozen times. The first time we watched it we where literally on the edge of our seats. It's an awesome film, especialy the first time you watch it. Cube Two however was a severe disapointment. I'll look forward to Cube Zero though.

I wouldn't stop buying tooth if Dredd was missed out for a couple of issues, but I certainly wouldn't like it! If it came to the vote I would definitely vote against leaving Dredd out at any stage!
