Edward Hardwicke. He was a fine Dr. Watson to Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes.

I've given up on Clint now.

I only got the last one for the end of American Jesus and that wasn't great. I like Kick Ass but will wait for the trade. I enjoyed Turf for a while but it's not really doing much for me now but I may grab a trade later.

Judge Dredd Megazine 308 has been on Clickwheel for over a month so can we have Meg 309 now please?

The Prog uploads have improved recently, which is great, but the Meg seems to be getting behind again. Is it supposed to be there one month after publication?

Maybe he read that as Anderson in the tub?
Great sketch.

Books & Comics / Re: Whats everyone reading?

I recently read Alfred Bester's The stars my destination.
I read it after hearing good things about it on this very forum. I liked it but not as much as some on here. The story jumped along a bit too quick for me at times. I felt that some parts would have been better if they were a bit longer.

I got Black Butterfly by Mark Gatiss for my birthday this week. In the acknowledgements he mentions Ben Willsher. Anyone know if this is the 2000AD artist?

Edit:
I might have answered my own question. There is a commission of the lead character Lucifer Box, on Ben Willsher's website.

Yes, I can see a similarity with something in Minty.

I'm also a fan of Invincible but preferred the earlier stories as Invincible grew up with his powers rather than the later war stuff.
Well worth getting.

Arsebumbuggerybollocks!
Enjoyed the first part, went out for birthday food and booze and set up the DVD recorder for part two and forgot to leave the Freesat box on BBC4 so missed it.
Fucksticks!

Also gutted at missing part 2 of Noggin the Nog.  >:(

Why isn't Dredd wearing a breathing mask/enviro suit if this is Nu Earth?  :-X :)

At a stretch I'd say as Dredd is a clone like Rogue then maybe he has the same kind of genes put in him so he can breath too. It's a long shot but that's what I'm going for as an excuse for it to be OK.
