Another homebrew label.
I used Mike Carroll's 3D Ro-Jaws picture as a reference.

Despicable Me. Also very good

It's a shame the cover for 1724 isn't stitched together.  :(

I read Transmetropolitan for the first time recently.

It didn't quite click with me either at first but stick with it and it gets very, very good indeed.

Hurrah!
Prog 1724 is on Clickwheel now too. That's more like it.

The Book of Eli.
Good story, a few ridiculous moments, some good actors involved and always a pleasure to see Tom Waits.

I've just downloaded Prog 1723. Hopefully 1724 will be on time.

I actually know where i can get it free, usually before Clickwheel, but I am willing to pay for my Prog as I have done for over 30 years.
Come on Clickwheel, and the 2000AD shop, let us download our thrills.

There had indeed been another earthquake earlier in the week measuring about 7.9. No damage was reported as a result of that one though.

Ahhh, strange I couldn't find any reports about it at the time as that is still a large quake. I guess no damage means it doesn't make the news.

I'm a bit freaked out by this terrible event because...

Two or three days ago I was on the BBC News website while in bed before getting up for work and I'm sure I saw on the news ticker thing near the top of the page that there had been an "earthquake in Japan, measuring 7.9"
I told my girlfriend about this but there was nothing on the news.
When I got to work that day I told my boss about it, as he is going there for a month in August, but still there was nothing on the news.

And now it happens! Bizarre.

I also use Clickwheel and this is getting annoying.
Why can't the latest available digital Progs be uploaded on the same day each week, exactly one week after the print version? That's supposed to be the idea isn't it? Same goes for the Meg too. Very bad when it keeps getting behind.
We want our thrills!  >:(

Mike Starr, Alice In Chains bassist.

Crikey.  :(
I saw Alice In Chains back in '91 when he was in the band. They were support for Megadeth at Hammersmith. Only time I ever saw them, they were really good.
