These are the voyages of the starship Albion.
It continues on it's mission but never quite gets where it aims to be.

I also totally adore Rachel's Rising by Terry Moore

I'll second that recommandation. Good stuff indeed.

Here's a strip that time forgot and most squaxx want to forget!

Angel by Chris Stevens and Carlos Pino  from Progs 95 - 99 in which pilot Harry Angel has a plane crash. The planes computer is thrown onto him and melts onto his skin!

I recently got From Hell for my birthday. I had read  it years ago but never had my own copy until now.
Finished reading it this week and it truly is an amazing work.

Some other recently read favourites of mine include....

The underwater welder
Sweet Tooth
Northlanders
The tale of one bad rat (taken me years to finally get this but wow, what a great book).
The sixth gun
Manhatten Projects (just read the first trade, good stuff)

Having seen Rush live in Glasgow last week

I saw them at the O2. Awesome band, they never disappoint.

I'm working on something.
It looks bloody rubbish at the moment ("As usual!" I hear you cry.) but I'll keep slogging away to try and improve it.

Their Facebook page said they were hoping for an update on Issue 2 today.

As for my latest Strip experiences....

Emailed them awhile ago to ask where my Issue 1 was and was my subscription current.
About 11 days later I got a reply saying my subscription would run out with issue 3, no mention of my issue 1.
Emailed them again about issue 1, never got a reply.

They posted something about the issue 2 delays last week on Facebook and I made a comment about not receiving issue 1 and said that I would not resubscribe even if my remaining issues did appear.
An hour or so after posting that I got an email from Strip asking to confirm my postage address, which was correct.
Shortly after that I got another email form the wonderful and very helpful John Freeman who sent me a copy of issue 1 that arrived the next day.

Many thanks to John, it was much appreciated.

I still won't be carrying on my subscription. The long waits and poor responses to emails have killed it for me. John was very helpful but I'm afraid I've just lost faith, and interest in Strip now.

Talking of music, there's that crazy Ron Smith Dredd story where an organist has a show in a huge concert hall, and as he plays he includes deadly weather/force of nature effects.....

The wonderfully named Carl Heinz Pilchards In Tomato Sauce Clayderman.  :D

Developed a frozen shoulder today. Very painful.

I've had that a few times. Not nice at all. Get a bag of peas out of the freezer and put it on your shoulder for a while, that'll help it.
