I've got to agree with Artificial Idiot,if we start to strip away our justice system and an individuals rights as some people have been calling for,we will become no better then the terrorists who did this.

I don't really want to live in a country where its deemed alright to torture and kill anybody the state deems a danger,in the name of my safety.

Glad to see that everybody from the board seems alright so far.

It still seems somewhat unreal as I've been following it on the radio and only now getting the full piture on t.v.

Is anybody else finding it abit tastless how they seem to be sticking cameras in the faces of anybody caught up in it and can still talk?

The theory I heard was that the astronauts were launched into space but they didn't go all the way to the moon.

I may not be remembering this right but one of the points used to prove this, was that none of them can back with any kind of radiation burns or sickness dispite the rocket having no real radiation shielding and that going that far away from the earth the would of been fully exsposed to solar radiation.

I also seemed to remember on a show about if the moon landing were faked that it said the Japanise were going to launch a satellite that was going to take photos of the moons complete surface and thus prove if the landing happened by having photos of the landing site.I'm not sure if they have launched it yet though.

I'd quite like to see a story Paul Cornell story with art by D'Israeli.

There is already a Dalek and Tom Baker in one of the illustrations he did for the Sherlock Holmes story by Paul Cornell BBC site.http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/sherlock/images/story/deerstalkertitle.jpg">

I didn't mind his art on the prog 2005 dredd story, though thought it abit bland. The art on Blood trails though is really starting to irritate me to the point its distracting me from the story. The problem is that with every new character he draws I get the sense of seen them before and its drags me out as I try to remember where.

The aliens no longer come from Mars as Spielberg decided we know to much about Mars to believe in the concept of invaders from Mars.

Not seen the film yet,but the debate on this thread is really wetting my appetite for it.

For multi-part stories I tend to date what happens from the date of the week the story starts and then instead of saying they happen over 8 weeks(8 parts)just gauge them within hours/day/weeks time scale of whatever makes the most sense.I then date the next story from the week it starts.

I hope what I said makes some sense.

I may not be remembering this right, but I heard somewhere that Guy Fawkes night was a pagen holiday that because it was popular with the masses the church & state changed its meaning to a celebration of stopping parliament being blown up,so that they didn't need to get rid of it.Kind of like what they did with Mardi Gras.

Thats a nice cover and all,but I get the feeling he just took a slaine shot and stuck on a pigs head.

I,d love to see Dom Reardon do a prog cover or a different story inside the prog.I also think he'd be brilliant on Swampthing.

Would Devils island? the prison in the middle of the Mega City 1 traffic system be classed as an iso-block?

Also are most of the iso-blocks centred in one place or spread over the city and cursed earth?

I was wondering haw much lead time he had.Its amazing as I think this is some of his best work yet.

Week 4 is nice and like the last panel, has a nice Terminater feel to it.Looking forward to next weeks.

While its disappointing there is only 4 pages this week,I think its unfair to call it lazy.I think that while I wish there was more, that the 4 pages work well as a complete chapter and leaves a good impression which might be lessened lengthened out.It conveys well the fast and merciless death the martians unjustly were dealing out.
I think using different lengths for different parts of the story is working well and suits a weekly adapation.
