I've read that the 2nd Batman film would have Batman and Gordon inlist Dent to help catch the Joker.
In the 3rd the Joker would burn Dents face with acid, causing him to become Two face.

I think floors 500 to 496 had a force field which is why I think they started the defence on floor 495,I could be wrong though.

I've got to agree that it was abit of a letdown as well.
I still injoyed it,The Emperor Dalek alone made it worth watching. Its a shame theres no Daleks in the second series,as now its going to be a real wait to see him again.
I really liked the moment when Captain Jack sees the Tardis going and his face just brakes.I do hope we get to see him again.
The regeneration was good and Tennant looks like hes going to be a good follow up doctor who.
The main problems with the episode were, far to much time spent in the past though Mickys reaction to Rose saying that there was nothing to keep her there was good. For an episode with so many Daleks you didn't get to see them doing much.It also had a really bad line in "Somebody needs a doctor" which just didn't work at all.
Looking at what I typed it may come across as a bit negative but as the last episode I feel it could have been a lot better.I still can't wait till christmas though.

Heh,As soon as I reread what I had posted,I saw the clanger I had dropped with the cgi question. But in my defence I was only really counting cgi like the fear gas effects and other bits that stood out.I don't really count the buildings.

I've not seen episode III,but I would say its slightly darker then The Incredibles and spiderman II.The bits which he might not like are when the Scarecrow uses his fear gas, which has a bit with maggets crawling all over the Scarecrows mask. The only time cgi is really used is to crate the fear gas nightmares.

I really injoyed the film.
I thought all the casting was excellent,Michael Caine especially was wonderful.
The design of Gotham was striking, the above ground subway style system and the factory look of Arkham being highlights.
The film imbued a good sense of forboding into Gotham at night. The Scarecrows fear gases effects were nightmarish and various.
The film had some good jokes in it,but didn't swamp the movie in them.
I did feel they under-used Ken Watanabe and Cillian Murphy. Its a shame as I would have liked to have seen more of the scarecrow, the scene with him on the horse being one of the highlights of the movie and showed how nightmarish a character he could be.In the same way I would like to see more of Tom Wilkinson who played Falcone.
All in all this is a great reboot which stands head and shoulders above the Batman movies that came before and stands equal with the likes of spider-man 2.

My local cinema has this on,so I will be going to see it tomorrow.
From the clips I've seen so far it looks really good and a nice counterpoint to the more day glow looks of Spiderman.
Is anybody else find it a shame though, how every review on television and radio can't seem to not start without playing the 60s tv soundtrack,I just don't see why they can't see the film and tv show are to very different beasts.

I was meaning to ask about this, but wasn't there surposed to have been a Lenny Zero collection in the works. Was it mentioned that the last work Jock was going to do for 2000ad was as lenny Zero collection cover before the DC deal. started.Andy Diggle also said that it was to have synopses of future Lenny Zero stories.

I've got to say the megazine looks like it going to be a great read. The simping Detective cover looks wonderful.

I think Cybermen are my favourites as well.Shame though that there wont be anymore Daleks next year,I'd love to see the Daleks and Cybermen team up.

I wouldn't mind him doing a new fantasy where hes not tied down to the back story of Slaine and just let loose.
As artist,Dom Reardon as i'd love to see him on a sword and sorcery comic.
