A Chopper story could really work in a sequel. The tension between Dredd's steely devotion to upholding the law versus Chopper's desire to be free of the confines of life in the Big Meg. It could be epic. Judge Death on the other hand : stupid. I hope he's left out of any films that may come in the future.

I agree. I'm so excited I think I'm going to burst. I've even been weighing up the pros and cons of buying a 3D television JUST TO WATCH THE DREDD FILM ON in case they release a fully 3D version on DVD.

I'm desperate to see some more of Jock's production art, or, better yet, some final costume designs.

And as for Urban, the more interviews I read, the more convinced I get that he's the right man for the job. I can't wait.

I've got barber-shy friends and everything but I have to come clean, I think it looks really bad. Long hair on men is bad enough but men with pony tails? If you're going to tie it back to stop it getting in your face, JUST GET IT CUT. Having long hair isn't cool, it's not as if it's skillful to not get your hair cut. And don't get me started on white men with dreadlocks. Worse than fucking tories. PS. I'd like to pre-book the rant get-out clause by admitting that I've drunk a bottle of wine.

Chaps- I'll have a go.

Pm to Christov on the way...

Woohoo! Nice one! Great to have you on board.

Weirdly, I was reading an issue of Futurequake last night and wondering if you'd be interested. I assumed you'd be too busy for the likes of us. Glad I was wrong.

Riiiight. That really does make a difference. Would you be able to do that with grayscale inks too or would that process mess up the tones?

I'd just like to ask a silly question if I may. If anyone is interested in lettering this thing, would it be best if I just planned out the pages to leave room for speech bubbles to be inserted or draw the empty speech bubbles in?

I only drew the empty caption boxes on page 1 because I was going to letter it myself, but then I remembered that my writing looks like shit.

Any takers for this?

Yeah, they're definately for those with disposable income,or those with a rabid collector gene!

That's a nice way of saying it. Another way would be 'people with more money than sense'.

Thanks peeps. You can call me Lee now though. I've given in to boring reality and abandoned my internet persona.

Christov's done a great job on the writing. Great ideas and dialogue. We just need a letterer to form the holy trinity.

Heh, it's fairly Greek to me too.

Thanks a lot for the comprehensive responses Jim and Radiator. I'll have to do some homework on this I reckon.

Hey all. Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere in the forum. I had a quick look but can't see anything.

Does anyone have any advice about the best way to scan A3 art using an A4 scanner? Also, what's the best resolution to scan black and white (or graytoned) inked artwork for emailing purposes?
I'm currently scanning the top and bottom halves seperately at 300 DPI and sending 2 different files. Is it possible to re-attach the 2 halves before I send them? If so, how?

Apologies for being thick at computers but with your help, I'll learn.
