I'm pretty happy as a glasses wearer. As long as my frames look good and aren't falling apart like they constantly did when I was a kid, I'm happy. I do own disposable contacts (mostly so's I can wear my prescription monocle and still see with both eyes) but I don't tend to wear 'em.

The only problem with glasses is the way you cruise into a bar, all suave-like, looking the height of cool and then they steam up and you have to wipe them on your shirt.

The pacing was awful. Why did everyone have to say their lines so slowly, as if each one was the most important in the show? I always thought of Mr Teatime in particular as a jumpin' around kind of maniac.

I'll be watching it going in blind - no trailers, no making ofs, no nothing. That way it'll still be good right up until the point that it starts.

The cheeky Baathist!!

You've been holding on to that one for the past three years, haven't you? Go on, admit it. Spending years primed and ready, like a snake waiting for the perfect moment.

Ah, but, says the Daily Mail. 9 out of 10 people not born in Britain choose to immigrate here.

And we don't wants 'em!

Damn filthy Daily Mail.

You couldn't do it with Torchwood because it's contributing to the death of a thing you enjoy because it is (or at least used to be) great, ie Doctor Who. If it was some kind of stand-alone crap sci-fi, I've no doubt we'd all be watching it and pissing ourselves at its pomposity. Alas, all we can do is watch it hammer another nail into the Doctor's coffin.

Now that's what I call an Xmas prog.

Unfortunately, I read it and the meg together in one orgiastic dose of thrill-power. I feel like the fat kid with a bucket of pies.

It was so windy, my hat flew off while walking down a dark road with a large box under one arm. I may as well been in a piece of Leeds-based film noir.
