Incorrectly used or excessive punctuation, especially that involving multiple exclamation marks or the hideous exclamation-then-question-mark.

Any literature spotted using such dross is immediately binned or corrected with my handy red pen.

I always thought so. I think John Byrne does as well- which is probably why he goes so far out of his way to moan about how terrible 'The Incredibles' is. That particular scene is usually held up as the best example of the entire film being 'disrespectful' to the super-hero genre.

So the Catweazle of Comics dislikes the Incredibles because they're disrespectful to the work of a man he himself ain't not no fan of?

Interesting, albeit gramatically incomprehensible.

You don't need a dongle for wireless, though you will for connecting it direct to the router, I believe.

It's been a while since we've spent our Fridays posing one another deep and interesting questions, so I thought I'd revive the tradition while I digest me lunch. Here's today's mind bender, then:

What's the biggest animal you could take in a fight, assuming said fight takes place in a Roman-style amphitheatre and you're unarmed?
Please note that naming sharks, whales, and other aquatic creatures doesn't make you clever.

Myself, I reckon I've got a decent chance with a giraffe; there's so much neck there, my chances of grabbing something to strangle or snap are much improved.

Is ignorance an adequate defence?

Well, in English law, ignorance as to fact is a legitimate defence, but ignorance as to law ain't.

So if I punch you in the face under the mistaken impression you're robbing someone, that'd be (probably) ok. If I punched you 'cause where I come from punching is fine, that's not.

As far as i am concerned they are so low that they are not even in the Food Chain.

No, no. They are. They eat bread, and cheese, and sandwiches, and pies, and chips, and salads, and apples, and pears, and biscuits, and lemons, and sweets, and beef, and lamb, and chocolate, and sushi, and noodles, and corn, and peas, and ice cream, and crisps, and carrots and everything.
