Now tell me again, how much "better" atheism is than religion

Put your straw man away - even accepting your tenuous groupings under the catch-all banner of Socialism, so what? Nothing to do with deaths in the name of atheism.

If you're arguing that since these people committed these acts while being at the same time atheist, you're going to have to revise your pre-20th Century figures to include any time a religious person ever killed anyone.

Victims? In pies?

That reminds me of the classic Judge Joyce adventure, When Irish Pies Are Smiling.

Not remotely scary, mind. It's got pies in it, though.

Can we have a pies thread?

Once, along with two fellow parapsychologists, I set up a small business with the aim of investigating and dealing with paranormal incidents. We had some times, I can tell you. There was one ghost who totally wanted me.

Anyway, turns out we all saved the city in which we live from a big sugar-based monstrosity and an evil God, or something.

Soul Sisters: There was one story where if you'd only read the first page and no more, you'd think they were dead. Forever.

You can't exclude roads from the population density figures, because of all of those Mo-Pads.

Welcome, ned-kogar! And, may I say, what an excellent contribution you've already made to the field of space-maths. I'll be chewing that one over for a bit.

Right, that's it. What with all the hoo-hah about this month's Rennie Dredd, I demand that the hard work put into this thread be made into an appropriate strip. Spurrier, since you started it, the burden falls squarely on you.

Get cracking.

So what we need is an estimate of how much traffic there is knocking about, say, the average sector, and then someone can do some extrapolative space-maths.

On the subject, how many people were eaten by the Klegg in Meatmonger? I seem to recall a not insignificant bit of the population going out that way, too.

Based on, I believe, the post Apocalypse War sector renumbering. Logan'll be along in a minute with the map.

Point well made; assuming that the ratio of street-to-ancilliary is the same for Psi as normos, the figures do add up.
