Weird! I know nothing about that! Flattering as it is, I dunno why they didn't go for Glenn too- maybe it's because my style is more mainstream?

I drew that over 20 years ago... gawd I feel old....

That's Bungle from Rainbow charging out of the castle isn't it? Now I'm interested... Zippy being seduced to the dark side by Tilda Swinton has to be next...

Actually that was my problem with the first one- Do you choose to go with the saucy MILF with a shiny castle and eat Turkish Delight or hang out in drafty tents with a grumpy Lion and his pious mates?

I know the side I'd be on....

Bloody genius and endlessly quotable. Colin Farrell the best I've ever seen him, and Gleeson is a god. Grim but funny- much better than No County which I thought collapsed under the portentous fractured narrative with ho-hum characters. Here, you care about the guys and that makes it all the more harrowing.

Well, as a long-in-the-tooth (at Tooth!) Artdroid, I kinda like Nick's stuff. The Dredds that engaged me originally were Mick's and Ian Gibson's. The ones that really got me wanting to draw Dredd were Steve Dillon's and Cam's.

I love that Dredd is such a broad church and the artstyles are so varied.

Nick is a new guy-- he's going to be amazing in a couple of years you can see that in his characterization and settings. Has he problems? Yep, but the enthusiasm and style are enough to carry him on and I applaud Tharg for giving him a crack at Dredd. The story is great but it isn't the most action packed yet he's managed to make every page engaging.

Crash. Just a caffeine free version of Grand Canyon with almost identical, yet less interesting  characters and situations.

Billion Dollar Baby. Switched the DVD off after about 30 minutes and played Spider Solitaire on the computer instead.

Hmm.. Both written by Paul Haggis- Due South was so good, how did it come to this...?

Kill Bill 2. I LOVED Kill Bill 1. Kill Bill 2 made me so frustrated and uncomfortable I wanted to leave the cinema but I clung on to the hope he could pull it out the bag at the end. Alas...

Forrest Gump. Just bollocks. Be nice, safe and low key and everything will be ok. Try to be different and have fun and you die.

LXG made me cry. How do you dumb something down so BADLY?! And yes- a car chase in 19th century VENICE? WTF?

Blair Witch Project. I SO wanted them to hurry up and die.

What issues do you need? I picked up a prety full run when I knew I was to draw for the mag, and they're still around the studio somewhere. Let me know....

Maybe the island appeared under the Black Rock? How else does a galleon get in the middle of an island? I like the theory that Widmore Richard and Abaddon are of the original crew and that Locke Ben and Charlotte are reincarnations of other crew members.

Ep9 continued the 'answer one question ask three more'- then goes into high gear. Cracking.

For the partial answer to your question about someone possibly having control over someone else (dunno how to do spoilers so I won't repeat it) track down the 'mobisodes' one of which deals directly with the connection between these two characters.

The last mobisode is a real WTF moment, taking place seconds before the beginning of the very first episode and changes everything you think you've seen so far. Weird that these weren't done in actual episodes.

That was filmed in Westgate Street in Cardiff. The explosion was startlingly well done, and had me wondering how they did it. I don't know if it was done on location - that would be quite a feat, as Westgate Street is a main route through Cardiff - or if the exploding building was pasted in from another location, which seems likely.

Well, Ush I think it WAS Westgate Street and they got into trouble for it-- folks thought it was a real explosion- the Echo had big articles about the fuss...  Bloke denting the car roof was around the corner from my studio (my window made it into episode 1!)

Prog / Re: Prog 1568 : BAD BRAINS!..........

Yep- I praised Matt's work earlier but I was remiss in not saying that the whole Prog looks great right now.

You can never go wrong with Carlos (Stronty is what got me into 2000AD in the first place, via Starlord), Richard's stuff on Kingdom is classic Tooth and the Henry Flint art on Shakira is just great-- there's some fabulous compositions there-- the whole exploding eye thing was amazing... mental but in a good Kev O'Neill way. Great to be part of that whole ensemble!

Pete- thanks for the nice words about the art (and everyone else too!) Me'n'Cliff have talked about teaming up as long as we've been in comics (which is, scarily, over 20 years now)- fingers crossed we get to do this again before another 20 years- I think Cliff did an incredible job over my pencils! Lovely colouring too by Chris Blythe.

Course everything I do looks like shabby amateurism next to Matt's insane art on Stickleback...
