Whilst visiting the Trafford Centre over the weekend, I managed to pop in to their Odeon and to watch it. What a cracking film. I would easily put it on par with Iron Man and Spiderman 2!

Help! / Re: Holiday Destinations...
21 May, 2011, 09:41:01 AM
For my sins, I used to work for a Tour Operator for 14 years, so have been lucky enough to see a bit of the world. Rhodes is one of my all time favourite destinations.... 8 times and counting. It holds a lot of sentimentality for me and Kim.

However, the eastern Europeans are investing heavily into the island. I've nothing against them, but from experience the words 'please' 'thank you' do not exist nor do they know the meaning of how to queue. Picture your generic German tourist and times it  by 10 (rant over)

Last year we fancied a change, so we when to a lovely little resort called Tsilivi on Zante. We enjoyed it so much, we're going back in a few weeks. Not to busy, not to quiet, a great beach, one or two lively bars,  some fantastic restaurants and true Greek hospitality. What more could you ask for?? Can't wait.

OK chaps, here my entry (Kerrin, can you class this as a single entry and not a multiple one?)

I wish History was taught like this when I was at school. And probably the funnies program on TV... Horrible Histories.

So I give you not just a single book, but a whole frickin series.... Frightful Futures!! I could have gone on and on with Dastardly Droids, Galactic Gladiators, Barmy Berserkers , etc etc.

Recently upgraded to blueray, so picked up Wall E and UP during the recent 2 for 1 Disney offer (not the greatest Disney fan... Give me Warner Bros any day). Fantastic films.

I had tears in my eyes whilst watching 'Growing up together' scene in UP. Beautiful story telling at its best.
