droid life:  i laughed.

dredd:  Explain the point of this story.

Red seas:  i've lost the plot (not in a i'm crazy kind of a way)

V.C's:  I think i need to go back to the beguinning and re-read it all.

Valkyries:  Can i have one of those bed thingies that blone chick has?  the art was space girls-like, which is a bad.  A double length episode is to much, i may have tolerated it, but half way through i flicked ahead to see how much of it i still had to go.  i'm willing to give it a few weeks to see if it finds its feet.

Alien I:  I liked this very much but had to read it a few time (hey, who didn't)

it occured to me earlier that what happened to sethor might have been a metophore for rape...?  gael was abused, physically and mentally, and now sethor has been

however we may have taken it a bit to seriously.  JRR Tolkein said (something along the lines of) their are two kinds of stories, those in which the writer is trying to say something to the reader and the kind in which the reader interpretates the story in their own way.  this is probably the latter, and some of us may have over reated a bit.

still don't like the don't swallow joke though...

"Why would homosexuals be offended if anal sex is portrayed in an amusing way?"

because it wasn't amusing, sethor was terrified at what was about to happen.

Dounreay is right i think.  not homophobic, but bad taste.  the don't swallow joke was crass, but we live in an age of crassness

some shows cry out for continuation.  i think 24 was one of those shows that was begging to be left alone after season one. season 2 was okay but i lost interest half way through.  the only reason i saw it was because it was on after enterprise on sunday night.  some interesting things going on, such as jack's addiction, and i suspect i'll watch it again, but i'm highly sceptiacl...

thanks, johnnyeyebrows.

T3 didn't impress me too much, but was a very good and depressing ending. i would like to see a T4 to see where they go from that ending, would like to see the war, but not another one of these machines from the future travelling back in time, that has gotten a bit old.
