"Why cant 2000ad do this with its stories?"

They do it to a degree with the Extreme Editions. With regards to the Meg printing just Dredd, i'm pretty much against that. I'd never have got into such (imo) fantastic stories as Charlies War and the out-standing Preacher had it not been for them being reprinted in the Meg. ok i admit i got a bit lost with Lazarus churchyard (sp) but it was still well worth while reading it.
And like Art said American re-prints weren't the best coloured jobs on the market by any stretch of the imagination but are still widely available on ebay and wot-not or through dealers such as Silver Acre if you want dredd/Alpha/Slaine only stories.
Cheers,
Rob.

Hi Steamboy,
i've just read that you mentioned not having seen Richard Elsons work in black and white, well (*with-out wishing to sound like a big gobbed show off!!) i've got about 70 pages of Richs original artwork showing in my artwork collection page on the main 2000ad site, all in B+W before the computer colouring was added.
Cheers
Rob.

Don't anyone get their hopes up of the Royal Mail improving anytime soon. I moved into my current dwelling about a year ago.
I still get post for the couple i bought the house from, despite them paying to get their post redirected. I still get roughly 4 letters a week for them. On Monday i got 1 letter for my next door neighbour, 2 letters for the afore mentioned couple and a Whiska's promotional catfood pack for some-one who not only had a different house number from me but lived in a different road!
Way to go posty!
And don't even get me started about "lost" 2000ad artwork with Parcel Force!

Got mine this morning.
Great eye catching cover again by Cliff Robinson showing stone being attacked by Super-Yujees.
It's pretty well known (?) that i love more or less anything to do with Meltdown Man so an objective review from me would be hard to come by if i'm honest.
I think it's a cracking old school story that's stood the test of time reasonably well!

Hi All,
just thought i'd share this (again!). I got it professionally framed and only picked it up this morning, it was nerve wracking handing it over to somebody else to look after for a couple of weeks (the amount of time the framers took to do the job) it's got that special U.V. glass in it as well but the framers charged me an extra ?16 for it!
Still, the end result is imo fantastic.
