Full kudos to you, Steve, for turning up to the party.  I still reckon Guerilla Vampire Club's a naff idea, though.

Is it just me or does he start by slagging off his publisher's distribution channels?

For me, the real low point comes when he entices his audience, presumably made up of people who "like" serial killers, with, um, badges...

What can YOU get out of joining the Vampire Street Team?
*Rewards include unpublished stories that will ONLY be available to Street Team members, badges, bookmarks, and other free merchandise.

What do YOU have to do to earn these unique rewards?
* Call in to your local bookstore/game store and suggest they set up a signing session or reading
* Bring friends to the signing sessions & readings when they are in your town
* Convincing friends and people you believe might enjoy the books to buy them
* Put the books face out in your local bookstores so people can see them
* Put up posters in your city centre that you can download from the e-free section of the website
* Post to science fiction, fantasy and horror forums and related message boards online to get a buzz going
* Including links to this website as well as to Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other online bookstores in the signature section of your emails
* Encourage people in your local Roleplaying and Warhammer clubs to visit the website, join the mailing list and even join the street team
* Just about anything else you can think of to get the name of the book out there and promote sales

Go, Vampire Street Team!  You could have all sorts of whacky adventures along the way!  Eventually being turned into a Cartoon Network series!!!

I like this guy.  Even if he just makes pennies + postage, he makes money.  In 20 years of selling this exact same image over and over again, he will eventually become... A BILLIONAIRE!!!

I'm not computery and it took me all of 30 seconds to begin downloading.  Chill out, chaps - this is a little "special" for us, so let's not throw it back in Tharg's face, eh?

As for the trailer itself - AWESOME.  That's Nu-Earth.

Homemade lentil soup like I had last night (made with green AND red lentils, plus other goodnesses including loads of pepper).

I've been farting so badly today that it necessitates half-hourly walks outside the office.

I think, given that 2K has survived thusfar and is now pretty much the only comic in Britain apart from Viz written for an audience over 12, that its future is pretty much rock solid until my generation keels over and dies

So, another few weeks, then.

I?ve made this argument before, but I genuinely think that we are currently living through a Golden Age of 2000AD.  Kickstarted by a combination of plus falling sales due to proprietorial/old editorial decisions, the input of some of the Gods including Wagner and Grant, the actions of various vocal fans (WR Logan, Andrew Lewis etc) and the back-to-basics approach of Andy Diggle, the renaissance of 2000AD arrived with Matt Smith?s editorship, and this Second Golden Age has endured for over three years now.

In twenty years, assuming the title survives, we?ll all be looking back at the current run of Dredd in particular with nostalgia, and won?t believe that it coincided with such genius as The Simping Detective, Leviathan and Young Middenface.

Exactly how frigging massive is that church meant to be?

Just trying to work out the perspective is doing my head in.

However, it has subsequently emerged that the Doghouse's firey crash, which obliterated a large portion of the planet's surface, did not kill anyone strategically important.  Even the Gronk survived.
