Cat's Cradle is probably his best science fiction novel.

Breakfast of Champions is one of the best books I've read.

I sense an ad slogan there:

"Judge Dredd - Pink and Hard!"

Just watched it.

Fucking awesome.  I think that PJ is absolutely right in his explanation - proving that there is indeed a first time for everything.

If Russell T Davis and John Byrne had created Judge Dredd, what do you think the strip would have been like?  What do you think this forum would have been like?  Would there be any noticeable changes?

I'm surprised that the reference to Shakey being a bit bi hasn't raised more eyebrows

Why?  One of the few thigns we can say with some certainty about Mr W.S. was that he was a bit bi.

whenever anyone mentions Harry "Bellsweat" Hill I must point out what a quimwedge he is.

There is only a single ray of light - one day, he'll die. Or his televison career will. Either way, I'll be free of him.

Wow.  That's just so... wrong.  So utterly, utterly wrong.  Harry Hill's so funny that one can only assume ITV hired him by mistake.  One day they'll realise that a genuinely talented performer has made it onto their channel, and fire him on the spot.
