Does anyone know where the page has gone that I can use to enter my subs details? I want to re-subscribe, but there only seems to be a phone number for UK residents to phone. DOnt' they ship outside the country anymore?

Announcements / Re: Judge Dredd Movie is Green Lit!

Quote from Danny Boyle. Shouldn't he know about the movie if it's his prod company? Unless he's just talking about directing.

First up the "Judge Dredd" remake which he has been linked to due to his production company DNA nabbing the rights last Summer. Boyle says "Where has this come from? Someone asked me about Judge Dredd the other day...I hated the last version of it; I can't imagine the next one will be any better.

BBC, the clever buggers that they are, has posted a summary of the final episode in the series.

Don't look if you don't want it spoiled.

Seriously

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the games company responsible said it was test footage but that the game has since been shelved. Can't remember why. Oh, and they are making a CGI Ghostbusters movie

Hey all--

I tried googling the lyrics, but nothing came up. Starting to wonder if I imagined the songs.

Help! / song titles
27 July, 2006, 10:59:26 PM
Hey all. Question for the hive mind here. (Or at least those that know of obscure 90's songs.)

Can anyone help me with the titles of these two songs? I know they're obscure but I managed to track down another one that I'd almost forgotten. (Detachable Penis.) The first has these lyrics somewhere in the song.

"Cynthia. Miss Johnson. Your clothes are ready Cynthia Johnson, I hope to see you when you come get them." And the chorus is sung in a Chinese accent.

And the other one is:

(Chorus)"we will be free one day, one day we will be free"
"My father was a soldier in Vietnam, my mother was a junkie in the Soviet Union", but sung in a really weird voice.

Books & Comics / Re: No Title

Automaton Hunter does what a lot of other comics are doing these days, re-imagining existing characters and dabbling in Victoriana, but incredibly, Paul Crilley and James Feist are managing to say something new

Heh. And seriously, I wrote it about four years ago.

I think that's probably part of the problem. I was working to an A4 size, as that's what Zarjaz 1 and 2 were.

I'm not sure. I haven't heard much about what's going on. I think they've been quite busy putting the issue together.

Hmm. I think I should apologise a bit for the Sam slade story. I wrote it a few years ago now and reading back over the script it is a bit um... wordy. That said, I wanted it to be ten pages, but had to find ways to cut that down. So I struggled to get all the info in. (This was when Zarjaz was still with Mr Lewis) I'd love to see how it turned out. Anyone have scans?
