I have never seen Pretty Woman, Notting Hill, The Beach, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, the Matrix sequels, or any Jackie Chan movies.

I have never been to a rave, or the Glastonbury Festival, or tried ecstasy, amphetamines, cocaine or LSD, or sniffed solvents, or been to Ibiza, Goa or Thailand, or travelled outside of northern or central Europe and North America.

And I've never been to Ireland.

DXB - that Identity Crisis spoiler was really evil ! Well done !!! That really caught me out.

It's funny, I'd completely missed any advance publicity for it, and only saw it when it came in and the guy in Forbidden Planet recommended it. Even he didn't say anything about anyone dying, though. I guess he assumed I already knew, what with there being a funeral on the front cover.

The Blob can't stand cold, and the movie version of the Triffids is killed by sea water. And they electrocute The Thing From Another World. King Kong is shot off the Empire State Building by machine gun fire from aeroplanes. Gwangi is killed by trapping him in a burning church.

Oh - and "To Serve Man" is actually a cookery book.

It turns out that the tiny invaders are actually Earth men, and the mute woman played by Billie Whitelaw is actually an alien giant.

Three of the civilians escape in the helicopter and go and live on an island. The scientists all get shot, and the soldiers are eaten by zombies.
