Which of these Zombie city destroying epics was the better?

(a little more to earth than A.War vs Necropolis i did last time :-D)

I was talking a geeky friend of mine who said he heard from somebody that tharg the almighty is indeed in DvD in some role or a cameo (ala Red Bull)

Now call me a slave to the rumour mill but could it be true?

On the docks level Dredd gatecarshes the death cult and finds 4 psi judges being prepared for Death & co to absorbed as new bodies (their being drained of blood)

Now clue me do, but Dredd is buzzed on his helmet and then sent off to the zombie infested mall without doing anything dreddy

I would imagine dredd burning the bodies with a incidenary shell to prevent death regaining form so easy or something?

Both are seen are Major Dredd stories killing millions of innocents and exposing the myth that MC1 isnt as invincible as Dredd would have us believe

but of the two which did you think was better

I just looked at the last page of last week's Leviathan, in the final frames your see, while pinned down by Ashbless, Lament's hand groping the Amulet that binds Ashbless to Hastur

I think that in his deaththrows Lament will yank it and release Hastur from Ashbless and end his Immortality (killing him from lament's bullet wounds) meanwhile the now free Hastur will break his promise because Lament is dead and steer the ship in to hell causing the passengers to be damned in a sad and emotional ending

Thats my guess, we're see if it comes true this wednesday :-D

Theres been a good few Dredd crossovers to date (Rouge Trooper, Batman, Predators, Aliens)but who would you like to see tangle with the judge?

Me? I'd like to see:

Sinister Dexter - *Drools* hitmen vs lawman!
Nikolai Dante - The lookalike in "Club Sov" made me think Dredd vs Dante would work
Spiderman's Venom - One of those "Slap em together lets see of it works" things, big fan of both
Captain America - Given Dredds anti Democracy view it would be a hoot
LEVIATHAN - Imagine it now, the cruise ship everybody thought dead turns up in the black atlantic, Lament comes out and says "Solid land at last, thank god!", Dredd looks at it and says "No citizenship huh? get that rustbucket out of here!"

What crossovers would you like to see?

The first one was good, i want more!

I'll be honest i like his in your face attitude and would love to see him again

Two things puzzle me in leviathan this week:

1- Didnt Ashbless die in episode 2?

2- Does this demon guy power leviathan and if so surely the captain knew that already without lament going to the engine room?

Asumming they dont sink the boat now that we're approaching the last part (which i believe is 10), does Leviathan have the potential for a sequel?

I think his gothic tones and evil art would fit any Dredd Strip.... how about you?

My apologies if this has already been posted but in issue 5 of Xbox World (theres no date but i got it today) they have video and text Previews of Death vs Dredd

The plot to whit:

"The plot revolves around a plan by cultists to ressuerct antihero Judge Death and chums with a serum developed by one Dr Icarus for the purpose of breathing fresh life in to deceased pets. Needless to say it goes tits up , vampires swarm the city, the apocalypse rears it head yadda yadda yadda"

The video looks very good, a real Half Life feel to it, theres zombies, arresting and even sexy Psi Anderson

This game is gonna rock

He's gotta be at least 50 now (I remember reading "Return of the king" and Dredd saying he has 30 years street expirence)

What would you guys like to see back?

Both are favourite undead guys who kill people in gory ways but Who would win in a clash of the ....er...dead guys?

Way way way back in the Cursed Earth Saga we saw Dredd save the genocidal former US president Bob Booth from some locals who thought he was a vampire, Dredd then sentenced Booth to Life on a work farm

Was Booth ever seen again? and if not should we bring him back?

I dont think I've enjoyed any strip as much as I've enjoyed Leviathan, with stunning retro-istic (if thats a word) artwork, a strong script that draws you in and lots of killing, it's surely a classic

I was curious to others thought of it

Way back (i forget the prog number) we saw Dredd get attacked by a man with a Crystal Skull, now the mysterious man said he was going to get dredd but he has'nt been seen since (at least not by me) so I was wondering, whats going on with that
