Charley's War / Harry 20 -
After many months ofg waiting (and the reason I started buying the meg again) Charley's Back! This seems as fresh as when I read it the first time, the humour is well placed, and Pat Mill's anger at the treatment of the ordinary soldier is apparent.

Harry 20 is good - cant remember it from the first time, so its a welcome addition.

Devlin Waugh - Always liked the character, and im probably one of a minority who looks forward to each episode

XTNCT - Love it!! Paul Cornell's writing is soo funny and spot on, love Raptor!

Bendatti Vendetta - I dont even bother reading this, think I missed too much of the story for it to make sense..

Apocolyspe soon - Am I the only one who still finds this funny?

The only thing that puts me off is I could've sworn I saw enrique englesias in the trailer..... Reading the reviews/previews Johnny depp runs away with the film, just like Pirates!

Lets file TCM under 'pointless remake'.... saw the trailer and thought within 1 second of it starting 'oh theyve given the remake a cinema release after all' after hearing it was to go straight to video, Could be worse tho - it could be GIGLI......

Got threw out of (and banned from) Godskitchen for 'allegded' chemical imbalances rising from the fact someone spilt a bottle of amyl nitrate over my trousers...... the bouncers didnt believe I was clean and promptly threw me out and called the cops! one full search later...... painful.

Last year I went to the memorabilia show at the NEC, and they had a display of the original batcar, the tim burton one and various costumes from the films. So i takes me trusty disposable camera out, take a couple of pictures, only to be approached by a burly security guard who siad id have to oay 5 QUID for each picture id taken or lose me camera!! then to add insult to injury, ray park (darth maul/toad) butted in and said id taken am 'unauthorised' picture of him!! told em both to feck off!! I did get thrown out tho.....

theres nothing worse than an overinflated ego, and a company wnating to make a buck off that ego....

Also, if you look at the majority of the US market, it's geared towards costumed, brightly coloured heroes, and villans who look like bad guys, not yer average person..... and tooth is the (virtually) opposite of this....

The yanks wont take it on board becuase of this and the supposed 'left' leaning of the stories.

Oh, and i agree, mark millars work on tooth was shite. thank god he works for marvel now the dolts..... hes ruined xmen i think.....

I think that the longer term readers like myself could be a little bit selfsih abou this thinking about it.. Im glad that you got chance to read the dead reckoning story, and not the 3 amigos story, which was terrible.....
