Managed to fix the problem by installing some old drivers. The ones just before the current version in fact.
Problem only started after I updated the drivers so they appear to be the main cause. I'll keep an eye on them in any case.

Any game. Like I said, sometimes happens when I boot up the computer, turning off after the windows screen with the loading bar.

Got a bit of a crisis on my hands.
Basically, whenever I try to load up a game, the monitor switches itself off and goes into power save mode, the on light blinking.
This also happens occasionally when I boot the computer up.
This never happens on safe mode, I've tried updating my drivers but that doesn't help at all.
My card is an NVIDIA 6600.
Can I fix it or has my pooter finally kicked the bucket?

Whatever happens I'll still be wanting a pissup in the Triple Headed Goat followed by getting into a nightclub that will actually let us in!

Hello all, Just today I realised that I haven't bought any comics including 2000ad for about seven months! This situation cannot go on any longer, without comics I'm in danger of being relegated down the nerd food chain.

So can I have reccomendations of good comics for when I go to the comic shop on Saturday? What's hot, what's not, any good new comics and classics that I've missed, all are welcome.

I remember that cartoon from Sundays when I was a nipper. Remember being impressed by the graphic image of Goliath being brained by David. That rocked (well, to a five year old at least).
