Torchwood had to be one of the most aggravating pieces of sci-fi telly I've ever seen, it just felt like it was trying to show off how cool it was whilst really being more like Richard Madeley's Ali G impression. It was honestly embarrasing from start to finish. Poor production values, lazy plotting, ill conceived characters and sub-Buffy monsters.
Quite who it was meant to cater for I don't know. SF for the nuts and heat generation I think.
Pretty glad I missed the last few episodes to be honest, sound like they were worse than what went before.

I think I'll emulate this guy and stick an 88ft long model of the Mauritania on the roof and a 3d cinema showing Terminator 2 in the cupboard under the stairs.

It doesn't matter who is the most powerful, it has been shown multiple times that Batman could wipe the floor with the entire DCU. With one arm tied behind his back. Whilst eating a burrito. And dancing the Batootsie. In a coal cellar at midnight. Naked. Blindfolded!

Don't think so. The two characters are nothing like each other.

Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean is the name of the film, for future reference.

Mmmm... Bundaburg. Damn my bloody hypocrisy!

On a party note, one beer, promptly threw up (Liiiightweight!) so I stuck to orange juice, Bah! Other than that, highly amusing!

Seriously though, I had gotten to the point where I was going through 4 litres of Strongbow a day and, lets face it, I've never been very good with alcohol.

Christ, I need a pint!

Bah again, I say!

I don't drink anymore, and if I do, I don't enjoy it. Guess Ive become sick of the philosophy that you must drink to enjoy yourself, that you're somehow defined by the volume of alchohol that you drink, that somehow losing control of yourself and damaging your body makes you cool. Plus, I'm a lighweight and when I get drunk I tend to be a complete twat rather than my usual state of low level twattery.

Sober for three months, lost two stone, feel great.

But fuck me, am I bored!

Which brings us to the ultimate question: What kind of vest does John Byrne wear?
