Urgh, Gin and Tonic, Old woman's drink, I'll have Bacardi and Coke anyday.

Coca-Cola's Cherry Coke no longer tastes like cherries, blatant bit of false advertising!

Cheese & Onion is GREEN! GREEN, damn you Walkers! I want Cheese & Onion and instead I get Salt n Vinegar!

Coco Pops have also changed their taste, forcing me to buy the ASDA's own brand!

And Jif is now Cif! I don't want a bleedin washing up liquid that sounds like something Doctor's prescribe Penicillin for, or one that's named after Thor's missus!

I demand a government whitewa-sorry, enquiry!

You have to admit though, it is funny that it took him eight months to find it!

Anyway, who's boarder of the month now then?

I nominate myself, coz I'm great.

Stamp on him before he breaks out into a song with a moral about eating too many lollipops! He'll be doing handstands in a minute!

By the way, it took me a while to realise that Wils was going out with Malchi and not Molchi...

General / Re: Art vs The Script

For me, the story is the main pull. I love great stories even when the art lets it down a bit. Meatmonger seemed like a lazy "Dredd Alien oe-down" to me, so even if Ezqueera had drawn it (apart from looking great) it still wouldn't have drawn too much interest from me.

Amazing art is only truly amazing when it actually tells the story, when ti has flow. Probably why I'm not too keen on the art for Slaine at the moment. Sure it looks nice, but it doesn't exactly draw the eye nicely does it?

I agree rac, Dante is a classic character even though he's only been around for a relatively short time.
I know it's been said before but I really like the way that he has a fully developed, interesting world that changes with the character. With the V.C's for example, they come from a world that we don't really know or, frankly, care about.

So, we need more series like Dante, characters that change and evolve with interesting and detailed settings and (most importantly) good stories. Caballistics has the potential to be a classic ongoing series, as does IMO Red Seas. Whether they live up to this potential is up to the creators and the editaorial team.

Does anyone actually know why the Norts and the Southers are fighting? I've gottent he impression that they're two planetary coloisation corporations that fight over valuable planets but I could've just dreamed that!

I know that Nu-Earth is a vital planet, what with being close to a stable Black Hole and all, but why did the whole thing start?

The Uni fees was quite a canny power play by Brown, he only convinced the "rebel leader" to change his vote at the very last minute, showing Blair that he has the true loyalty of the MP's.

So Blair narrowly scraped through on the Uni Fees.

But only at the whim of the man in number 11.
