I shall post many things later and lots of pics, as I'm having some family time but here is just one of those pics to wet your appetite.

Where's DREDD?

If the next frame isn't full of red, I will be disappointed John :)

If they pulled out of showing at Kapow, or never really had the intention of showing stuff, then there's no way that they'd show stuff at Bristol a month later.

Not holding your hands up and saying that it wasn't happening is pretty shoddy.

It's not like he had that far to fall in readers' estimation though.

Seems to be the case, according to various tweets.

I had to get some work done, so I wasn't hanging around on Sunday...
#6604
Super I think. I'd gone by then.

£100 a sketch? You're shitting me! I'd expect him to frame it, come round my house and hang it on the fucking wall for that!

According to Steve S, there was a list with mostly £100s and one £200.

For that you get plastering and decorating done as well...

Well, since Bolland was charging £100 a pop for sketches, I thought should add some value for money :)

Back.

Uploading photos as we speak, will post a link later.

Missed out on the panel, due to me forgetting my camera and having to travel across London to fetch it... Althought the knowledge that there wouldn't be any Dredd footage or stills didn't make it quite so annoying.

Most of the day was spent shadowing CF in costume, and met up with quite a few creators - everyone was great and finished the day in the pub.

Pretty busy, and I think with more organisation it could be really something.

best quote of the day on a massive queue for Mark Millar "There were that many people who wanted to give him a slap?"

Apparently release dates mentioned were Q1 2012, or around this time next year according to who you spoke to.

General / Re: Our Man in Hondo - inexcusably racist?

I'd have to re-read it, but I suspect dialogue between Sadu and his colleagues is a lot more naturalistic, than when the Hondo-cit judges are talking to the Americans.

Whether that's just a conceit of them talking in their own language, rather than a second language is up for debate, but you also have the plot-point that the translator is not even needed - so it could be argued that it's something the Hondo-cit judges do as a matter of course to throw outsiders off their guard.

I'll just pop something into your mouth when you start

It's like Brokeback City One!

Looking forward to seeing some red-hot judicial action :)

It will be short-lived, Steev :)

And I'd like to get a photo of a Judge Minty judge alongside my Termight Replicas version.

We need a photo of both pointing at each other and shouting JIMP!
#6615
Bless.

No idea who the other judge might be...

I'm sure there will be some good photo ops. I would love to get a pic of Brian Bolland and a Judge re-creating the Fist of Dredd frame. (minus the head shattering)
