Cheers Mike,

I'm sure I'll get round to finishing it - I model the 2000ad stuff as a change from the dull stuff that pays the bills :)

Nice one Mike,

I started a Ro-Jaws about a month ago, but didn't get much further than the head...

It's a canopy fitted over the hole in the original creature.

So it is a window once it's been broken in and embalmed in metal.

Cheers,

Another theory I've seen is that Sam is from our future, on a mission in 2006 where the accident resulted him travelling further back, either in actuality or as a hallucination.

The Hyde 2162 refers to a year as well as a phone number...

No, someone has had a reply back from the BBC saying that people had missed episodes and they were repeating them rather than premiering them on BBC4 from this point on.

Sounds like bullshit to me, more likely to be some internal politics. If they really wanted to repeat them, I'm sure they could find space on BBC1 or BBC2 or shift the never-ending shower of shite that is Two Pints of Lager on BBC 3 to make way.

I just read that the BBC are not running first episodes on BBC4 now, but repeating the series.

So I've now got another two weeks to wait.

Bastards...

Heh - it did have a brief spell of being active before, but it disappeared when the board went down for a bit, I didn't know how to reactivate it...

Now I do, thanks to Wake.

Cheers

The second episode is pretty good as well - written by Chris Chibnall, which makes me wonder what happened with Torchwood.

It also (and by the looks of it, so does the third episode) deals with aspects that I thought were too sanitised in the first series.

Looks like you're out of luck, I can't see any repeats scheduled.

For those that like double bills and have digital, BBC Four is showing the next episode straight afterwards.

I've requested it again.

Hi,

I think it just stretches rather than uses a smaller portion of the tablet to get the correct aspect ratio.

You'd think it would be weird, but it's not something I've noticed at all - although I'm pretty sure I saw someone join two tablets together once, but for me it's never been a problem.

Cheers,

Looks pretty good to me - Although the 3D performance might not be particularly important for what you want to do with it, a better graphics card can have other benefits (at least RAM wise)

I would have thought it should have a separate DVI/VGA output, which means you should be able to run a second monitor, which is great for photoshop etc.

That model looks like it has the same screen as mine, which look very rich, but are usually very reflective compared to cheaper screens, which might be worth bearing in mind. (it's usually called X-Brite/X-Glass something like that)
