I can just imagine Willie Rushton saying 'Be Pure, Be Vigilant, Behave'

Actually the 'Behave' bit would probably suit Kenneth Williams more, the spirit form of Torquemada as a despotic Will O' the Wisp?

Playing devil's advocate, there's the motive of wanting to see something from your childhood realised on screen (or as real as it's going to get).

Regardless of the Dredd film itself, it was great to see a 'real' Mean Machine, ABC Warrior, Megacity 1 etc.

I'd love to see a real Nemesis that wasn't a papier mache Tony Luke photo-strip.

Watchmen is a tough one, I don't know how well it would work with the costumes from the comic.

It's also been mentioned during it's development hell, that, post September 11, how much would have to be changed to make it work to satisfy movie execs, and would it be worth it?

Hi Logan,

the one I'm thinking is the opening 2 pages of the episode between the first Kev O'Neill pic you posted and the last two.

The opening spread has Nemesis VS Torquemada across the spread.

Not sure if that is the one the OP is thinking of...

Not sure, I only have the GN.

It's the fourth from last episode of the first book

Prog 240 going by the story details on the website, but I may be wrong.

Well, there's a spread in the Graphic Novel which is broken up from the original. It has Nemesis on the left and Torquemada on the right in the margins. Maybe that one?

Pah,

Duke Nukem had Holo-dukes years ago. and fun they were too.

It's a bit of a tough job releasing a game now at the tail-end of a console, when there are spangly new 360 games coming out like Battlefield and Ghost Recon.

Still, it's Rogue and I'll likely buy it.

Not to mention the sweet ciggies.

I think it's a tricky business with PP. Dell and Alienware pop up in 24 and it doesn't bother me, but you occasionally get these gear-crunchingly obvious placements when someone mentions that their Cisco systems protects them against something.

There was an episode of CSI:NY last week which has one of the detectives with a Coldplay ringtone, mentioning it to his mate, then the actual song being played during one of their montages. It was so obvious, they might as well have had a commercial break.

Yeah, the Judda were a bit wasted - apart from the knock-on effect of Necropolis they weren't really used that much.

Was it ever clear how many Judda were left apart from Kraken? I guess if there were some that Judd could have buried something genetically in them to bring down Justice Dept, but I guess it would be too much of a re-hash of Judge Cal.

Not an organisation as such, but how about Bob Booth rounding up remnants of his Mek-Army, or leading mutants against the city? The problem there is he is a Pat Mills character...

OK, how about the MacDonalds corporation? :)

For those with digital telly, they're running a trailer with some new bits from S2 on their BBCi channel by pressing that old red button.

It's on Freeview, and I would guess Satellite (not sure about cable)

Is Carlos doing the whole thing?

I've no idea how long it's supposed to last, but I think it deserves one artist on it, even if it meant it not being one continuous series.

I don't mean when this year, but has it been revealed what period it's going to cover in the history of the judges?

Thanks,

Steve
