Hurrah! *burrrrp*

Quality! Never one to miss an opportunity for a good round of comedy insults or all round swear-o-thon, can anyone clarify the historical /liguistic origins of the following:

Nonce
Screaming left-footer
Melon farmer
and most importantly...
BOLLOCKS!!!

That'll do for starters i think.

Don't mind the trout, he's just jealous cos i've got a bigger tank (geddit?!)

Anyway, I'm a 27 year old single gal from bloody portsmouth. I love my 2kAD but don't know as much as i oughta. My fave story at the mo is Red Seas. I probably fall into the annoying and usually off topic category, but i like everyone. I joined in here round about november last year, i think and i found it daunting too. My 2p's worth: just be yourself and post whenever you feel like it!

Hey surfer!
It's a free for all. Mind you even i've been strangely on topic lately...
So, do you like monkeys in hats? Are you a punk? And what would you like to do after the apocalypse?

That's better

Off Topic / Re: Great Movie Endings

Ok, some of these have already been mentioned but i like the following

no-one mentioned EASY RIDER! I nearly cried first time i saw that! Truly gobsmacking.
The Empire Strikes Back. Oh yes.
Fight Club. IMO one of the most beautiful final shots evah!
Beavis and Butthead do America. Our heroes disappear into the sunset with their beloved TV throwing juvenile insults at each other
Waynes World. 'Let's do the Scooby Doo ending!' arf!
Crouching Tiger... Ok, so we all saw it coming, but wasn't it perfect?
Tromeo and Juliet. 'Fuck it, we've come this far!'
Bad Taste. 'I'm comin to get yoooooou bastards!'

That'll do for now, i think!

Hey noisy, what subject are you doing? Sounds art related, so how bout....
changing animation techniques in cinema, commerce or one artist/company (might be adaptable for fine art)
or
a big teccy piece on developing computer animation, like why furry things are now possible when they were'nt 'x' years ago for example ( might be useful for animation or media)

just a thought....

There should be some more tunes on the website soon and hopefully they'll be fully downloadable (and free of course). The whole music section's been giving us many technical headaches, but our producer and web hobbit should be teaming up to sort it out soon. If you like, e-mail me your address and i can send u a cd when we get a new batch done. At the mo we just have cd's of the tracks on the site. We're gonna do a new one when i get back from adventuring in the summer

Barman give me a cup of gin. NO?! Then let the mayhem begin!

Hey scottie. My lovely bunch of reprobates are called Mighty Snortin' Powder Rangers. we're waiting to hear if a ska stage is going on at morecambe this year, if it is then i'll be playing (apparently!). But even if we dont get to play, i'll probably go. Anyone seen / heard of Anal Beard? They're fantastically funny and all round top geezers. 'Fanzine Nerd' is a classic. On a vaguely related note, Chas n Dave are well worth watching too. About 20 of us went to see em play in a bingo hall a while back! Good time had by all - moshpit in a bingo hall, HAH!

Anyways, my first time posting a link, so hope it works. The band's site is....

Coooooooool! LOADS OF PEOPLE!!!!!!!!
Let's unite an' put on a show!

I have lots of favorites, some old, some new and some sk8y. Tanky's current top 10 in no particular order:
Rancid (pre indestructible)
Exploited
Ramones
Oi Polloi
Distillers (pre coral fang)
Discharge
Mad Caddies
Less Than Jake
NOFX
Operation Ivy

And there's nowt wrong with soapy hair (unless it's raining). If anyone knows of a cheaper and more effective hair product, i'd like to hear it!
