I was a bit underwhelmed too. I know why though. It was too short. I'd just got used to all the characters and understood the world when it was bill savage (which i enjoyed greatly).

Max grew up in a family of emos. Shuned for his coldness and hairyness. Max was secretly a muntant, he had very acute senses; able to sense any animal hidding, but crap at finding innanimate objects. He also could communicate with animals, which is why he has Gerald his pet monkey, who he has taught to read. Gerald is a rampant fan of 2000ad, and is always wearing max's tooth bennie.

Max and Gerald travel the galaxy looking for bounty.

What do you mean it's just me?http://www.thecybermax.com/images/mad%20max%20the%20emo%20basher.jpg">

Actually we were being friendly till he was playing, as he was so obviously playing to win, and cheating a little. If you play far i don't care if i win or lose. If you are cheating i'm gonna call you up on every rule break, even really minor ones that are usually ignored mutually. Actually I think they kept their mouths shut because they thought he was a friend of mine, when he left they asked I said 'no' and then they started bitching. (you have to realise that though I am the youngest in the group i am the biggest and strongest physically, so they might be a bit afraid of offending me by insulting my friends)

To use an example of this from real life:

There was a new guy at games workshop last night. Straight away i didn't really like him. A few hours later When I played him he was such a jerk. And really sore loser. As soon as he'd left everyone was complaining about how he played. That is an example of how I dislike someone for no reason straight away, and later find out that there really is a reason. Damn Emo Boy.
