I'm lucky enough to have stumbled across a great shop where in their back room they have literally thousands of back issues of Lion,Vulcan,Valiant,Battle,Bullet et al...they're practically giving em away too so every time I mosy into town I always buy a fivers worth..picked up 20 odd copies of 1976 Action last saturday starting out at 20p for the tatty ones to 50p for the good uns..the early Victors are next on my list

I think a more probable scenario will involve 2000AD becoming a sort of 'umbrella' group and putting out 32 page monthly comics of its own characters every week...Dredd one week followed by Alpha or Rogue or whoever...other characters will get 3 issue runs every so often..

Your absolutely right of course CCG..here are my thoughts on the latest prog..

Dredd..solid story.. atrocious Nosferatu

2CB..really enjoying this inspite of the usual pc characters

TSDM..It could have easily been a disaster but looks like it could be the best thing in the prog

Lowlife..This IS the best thing in the prog at the mo

Dante..treading water at the mo..something big needs to happen fast..

Cover..Could have included a bloke in a commie outfit to reflect the story a bit more accurately..

This is a very good prog

I'm liking this lots..I also think its more at home in the meg than it would be in the weekly say..

its touch and go at the mo whether after Bogie Man finishes I'll still be buying the Meg..Shimura isn't doing it for me and Anderson is tedious..and I do NOT want to be forking out ?4.50 for articles on fucking film editing

excellent points well put..but your banging your head against a brick wall if you think your gonna convert any of these ridiculous PC loons..

they read books with big words written by men with beards and initials after their names...all they know about the real world they 'learnt' in the cossetted cloisters of academia...

I just enjoy watching them and chuck in the odd inflammatry line every now and then when it gets tedious
