Good of you to introduce yourself, sir.  That's more than I did.  I just waded in spouting any old diseased shite at the board, and it seems to be working so far, as I've spent LOADS of my otherwise spare time on here.
Pleased to meet you.  Stay awhile, won't you?

'k me!  88 quid on Amazon?
That's nothing like the silly prices I was seeing for those things elsewhere!

Cheers for the tip, PJ!

BTW, is that icon your own face?  Only you look like (ex)Sepultura/Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera (aka The Tazmanian Devil of Heavy Rock).

I'm just using the 'import/wia-epson stylus cx3200' command.  Can the settings be set for lower file size?  I'm in the dark, to be honest - I'm still feeling my way about with the photoshop, as there wasn't any manual or booklet with it.  I got it second-hand for 60 quid from Cash Converters about two days before someone told me how to use bittorrent, and I subsequently saw the frigging thing all over the bt websites like a rash.
And don't get me started on the digital art magazines and their 'handy to use' tutorials.  I bought one for its tutorial by Frazier Irving and was completely baffled by it.  It's like another language.

When I scan anything from my sketchbook (A4), they're bloody HUUUUUUUUUGE files.  Less than 1mb can't be right.  And do you scan them in bit by bit, or do you have an A3 scanner?
Only I went looking about those (sound of me sucking air through my teeth).  They ain't cheap.

The greywashed stuff might be a bit tricky to colour, mind.
Check out the 'convention pieces' thread, or the fan strips on this very site for mono artwork.

Bah!  To hell with your cynicism, you god-bothering fop!
I'm quick to say a bad word about anything and everything, but I'll buy this, and as long as it's playable, I'll damn well enjoy it.

There's only one thing - ONE THING - that could f*ck up this game for me - not being able to remap the controls as I want them.  You'd be surprised how many games I've given up on for just this reason - and I'll play anything.

If you check the gaming websites, you might find someone who's uploaded a complete game-save, which will have the cheats unlocked - just save that from your pc to a ps2 memory card and you're off.  Gamefaqs might be a good place to start.

"Yo, whassup, Rogue?  Where you at?
It's Helm, yo' funky, rappin' hat.
I'll 411 your mission plan,
In the style of a bitchin' music jam."

There WERE cheats for DvsD.  They're on the pause menu, and you get access to them by getting a good rating on the story and arcade missions of the game.
I'll be getting Rogue Trooper no matter how rubbish it is, so Rebellion are already halfway to hitting their ambitious sales targets.
I'm hoping it's good, though.  Looks a bit like James Bond: Everything Or Nothing, and I liked that.  JBEON had a funky disco-like music video credits sequence at the start, so Rebellion could have that in the Rogue game and keep everyone happy.

Fourth one along on the top row - do you put that one in if the other eye's got a touch of hayfever?

Just read the first Future Quake off that site linked to above - great stuff!

And I've never met Tiplodicus, but he sounds like a dirty, dirty chap.

Wasn't it Tiplodicus?  Got a beating for his trouble, too, if memory serves.
