I've got my eye on them. They're ending in my descending order of preference so I'll try and win one. Those auctions are one of the reasons why I'm selling stuff this week.

I'm currently waiting for a page of Dan Dare from Prog 1(!) which I won last week thanks to a tip-off from Barny for about ?100...less than a space spinner. Just imagine what the first page of Dredd from prog 2 would go for, if it still has Carlos' image pasted onto the McMahon backdrop.

It isn't here yet. When I get round to doing them, they'll be on the 'Other Publications' page, along with the DC Dredds which are also still waiting in the wings.

A quick internet seach came up with this:

Uncle's funeral

The office boy had taken the afternoon off to go to his uncle's funeral. The boss, thinking that the boy might not have been entirely truthful, went along to the cricket ground to check him out. Sure enough, there he was.

'So this is your uncle's funeral?' he said.

'It looks like it,' said the boy, 'he's the umpire!'

In that case the medium res pics (281 pixels high - about 25 k each) should be high enough resolution. I'll sort you out something tomorrow. Let me know if you only need access to thumbnails (112 pixels high).

He's still banned, but I might post an occasional message by him...probably no more than 1 or 2 a month, so he'll have to make sure he doesn't squander his opportunities.

I'll may the box a bit bigger...but I can't do it now. My FTP from work is still down (due to DNS realignment from a new email server last week)

If you mean for the website, I'd rather see artists draw stuff related to existing 2000AD characters than unpublished Future Shocks.

Tharg's Script Test is an experimental page in association with the scriptdroids Yahoo group. Please read and vote on their scripts.

To be fair the site didn't credit anyone for episode 1, it just had an assortment of episodes credited to Ron Smith. I've just skimmed through the Titan books to give the correct artist credits for each episode. According to the comic, the script was John Howard (= John Wagner) but I've read that this is the first story with Alan Grant as a co-scripter, which is why the site credits Wagner/Grant instead.
