General / Strontium Dog GNs

I think you'll find Titan have only ever published 1 Strontium Dog GN (prior to 2002). It contained stories from Starlord and nothing from 2000AD.

If another book exists, please tell us about it.

I think I may have sorted that bug now...it was caused by using $MessageID for both the message line and the "In reply to" line.

It might make more sense now there's an 'In Reply to' line.

Last and Next thread links are now done. Plus...so long as you follow it once the link to the message index should stay brown until someone posts a new message (on any thread).

I've sorted the 'followed link' colour change. Since I've now included the number of replies as part of the link...your browser will notice if there have been new posts.

I think I know what you mean for the + sign. It would basically give you the index for that thread as it still appears at the bottom of the messages. However, this would require a reload of the page. Do you still want it?

I've removed the highlighting for threads with at least 10 replies. Other boards have icons for 'hot topic' which do the same thing...but it doesn't add extra information.

I've made it so that the last post time is in bold if it is less than 24 hours old and the number of replies is in bold if there are more than 9.

If you want to stay with the old board then follow this link and bookmark it.

Well, what do you think?

You can still access the old version if you choose All instead of Summary at the top.

The thread and message pages are unchanged.

Actually, I've just removed the limit, so he can replace the missing bits instead.

Okay...you've conviced me. I'll work on having online polls. I don't need 'how old are you?' though, since most people have given their birthdate.

What I may do is allow people to create their own polls (this would be limited to anyone with a profile page to stop it being a free for all).

Pester me again in a week if nothing has happened.

General / Cast your vote on Wanted: Dredd or Alive

The audio CDs are listed on the specials page, which means you can vote for them the same as any other story (including the Virgin novels). So let us know what you really think (out of 10) of the new story.

General / Lawgiver Mk. 11

I queried Mk. 11 / Mk. II before because it clearly said Mk. 11 on the published blueprints.

The answer I was given was that it was the first commercially produced handgun for the justice department and they'd gone through a lot of prototypes. I assumed that this would be made clearer in the forthcoming strips, but it never was.

Whether it will be called II or 11 in the new RPG remains to be seen.

Sounds fair enough to me.

Send me your questions (with "Ask the editor" as the subject) and I'll collate them and ask Matt to answer them. The results can end up on the interview page.

Website and Forum / Where's Who's Where?

Some of you may have noticed the site go down earlier this evening. This was almost certainly due to CIHost again being upset that we make too much use of our mysql database. While we're waiting for Rebellion to sort out a server in the UK I've removed the site logging script to reduce the strain on the database. Therefore, "Who's where" and the earthlet counts on the site map have been removed.

On the plus side, this might make the site a little faster.
