I don't think Titan have a site, but they have a couple of pages on this one. Unfortunately the pages aren't up to date. I get most of my info from Amazon.

It was a case of stray  /html and /body tags.

There are some problems with Netscape 4, but since that's what I use half the time I am doing my best to iron them out. Usually they are due to missing tags. I'll check the writer's guidelines.

They may have the time to post, but probably not the time to visit the site let alone read the message board.

Although usernames are anonymous, there are measures in place to stop people using multiple aliases.

This board is frequented by several droids. Some of them have revealed who they are (or at least make no attempt to disguise their names and are the people they seem to be). Others use a pseudonym, which is fair enough and I've no intention of publicising who is who.

General / New Site Design
19 November, 2001, 07:27:14 PM
I just got the call from Dom-1 to flick the switch and unveil the new site design. We were waiting for the shop, but that will follow in a couple of weeks.

The design is by Craig Grannell, implemented with help from Barny and Robin Lees (who has done a lot of the extra scans you will now see in the character profile pages)

Enjoy!

P.S. Thanks for the tape...I'll see what I can do about getting it on the site.

This has already been done by Gordon Rennie and appears on the Class of 79 website.

The Class of 79 is undergoing an overhaul at the moment, but I imagine this will still find a place on the new site when it launches.

Off Topic / Silly Quiz
13 November, 2001, 05:31:52 PM
One of our research students (Oxford Brookes University) has asked me to set up a research quiz for her. Since I've been learning php for this website, I've used that and put in on this server (I've asked for php at work but it hasn't happened yet).

If you have a few minutes spare, please could you give it a go. Please don't discuss the nature of the questions here, since that may influence anybody else who tries it.

Cheers,

The videos are in Mpeg format. The music is in mp3 (with one also in windows media). Are you saying Macs can't play mpeg and mp3?

I have already made digital images of the CDs. I made a set for Tharg to listen to. What I'd like to see is them being given away as cover mounts on four consecutive Megazines (each story is 2 discs long), but I imagine Rebellion would have to get permission from the original publishers.

Help! / Re: help and hello Fraston

Try it again now. I think I've sorted it. Netscape didn't like both the old message window and the new one having the same name.

Cheers,

It's okay...we're talking about Tharg's chief editorial droids.

Floyd is a registered user of the website and also returned a survey, so he does as far as I'm concerned.

There are nearly 700 registered users on the site, so only a small fraction post here.

I've removed the main link to the chat room because it wasn't getting used. Would you like me to reinstate it, so that the people who like to surf the website during the day can chat as much as they like without annoying anyone coming to the message board for on topic info

I've just had a look at the Fetish GN an found a Psi Judge saying 'It's good to have you back' to Karyn on the penultimate page. Her reply - Why, have I been somewhere?
