Smells more like a sock puppet for a current member

Correct. Sigmund Freud has been banned since he was only registered to harass Peter The Wolf.

Don't forget - the original artwork for that cover is going to be won by someone over at Replay Toys, possibly for just £1 with free UK postage! I'd bid on it myself except that it might be inappropriate if I won, having tried to advertise it to others.

I'm wondering if it took a while for the system to update... or I just missed it (which is most likely) but I had a good look... honest.

The other thread might have been posted in reviews or somewhere by accident before being moved to spoilers.

The guy that has just asked you to half his invoice may not know that it's already at a mate's rate, so perhaps you should tell him that you're sorry but you can't knock it down any more, and tell him how much the full price would have been.

Perhaps when working for friend you should say to them that you can only give them a discount if they can pay up within, say, one month because otherwise it's too much hassle for you to remember who owes you what.

Help! / Re: Need to 'scrub' a hard drive.....
23 June, 2007, 09:32:50 AM
I'd go with reformat then reinstall Windows. As soon as you start adding new data to an 'empty' drive it gets pretty difficult to retrieve anything.

Alternatively, delete the sensitive files, then fill up the hard drive with other data (e.g. large movie files) then delete the new data. Any data recovery will find the second set of files, not the original set.

Cliff Robinson has given me permission to show you these photos of a Judge Dredd helmet he once made for a fancy dress party. He made it in six hours (on the day of the party!) with any scraps of card and newspaper he could find in his flat.

Enjoy!

I'm not sure masks would be that easy to make a good job of. However, if anyone has any suggestions of non 2000AD properties which have approachable copyright owners (e.g. creator owned) then I'd be happy to make enquiries. It's a shame that Button Man doesn't have any signature props.

On the other hand, SD Studios didn't make their replica Dredd helmets small enough to fit me.

Isn't that the point? I'm quite a way off the size of the average comics fan.

You may not remember it, but you did. One of my cousins is exactly 4 years older than you.

The certification doesn't cross reference with the DoB you put on registration, since the message board can be viewed without registering. The point is that if you say you are 15+ when you aren't then you (or your parents) can't complain about the tone of the board not being fit for your age group.

I know. I think I've just used up my annual allowance for a couple of those words.

You shouldn't need to re-certify your age every time you go onto the message board, unless you sign off (which you should do if you have under 15s that might use your computer).

Shouldn't that be 'warning: may contain beer'. Mine usually contains cider.
