WOW! that was great fun. Very laid back and funky. The Oxford Union was brilliant. It had the a Christian Society there the night before!

The best moment for me was when the dealer who was bothering Jock trying to  get him to sell the cover art to The Losers at a very cheap price. Then Mark Chapman came over and got Jock to read a text and Jock turned round to the dealer and said "no he wouldn't sell the pieces." The text that came through was Entertainment Weekly has announced that Andy Diggle has been named this years break through talent. Now that is the best news ever. So i am glad Jock didn't sell. I think the dealer was called Fat Boy Dale.

Gem you are brilliant. What a star. The meal in The Opium Den was top notch. Mike's sketch for Wesley at the Jongleurs was suberb. The luminous drinks were Aftershocks.

Roll on next year.

Hi Bolt, Decided to come on here after the con as i was so stoked about it! so this is my first time, i admit it i am a newbie.
Wasn't it great seeing Carlos. What a star. Did you get home in time and not get into trouble?

Yep that was me. Black trousers and blue lace up shirt. Husband is Alan who was doing the panels. My job was to run round and make sure the creators had all they wanted and generally anything else that needed doing.

That was a very nice portrait. I think i commented that it had a bit of Cancer Man about it.

My favourite moment was when Jock told Fat boy Dale that he couldn't have the artwork for the covers of the Losers after him badgering him for what seemed like  hours. The reason being he had just learnt via text that Andy Diggle had just been named Entertainment Weekly's break out talent of the year! Those covers are going to be worth a lot more than Dale was going to pay him and if he hadn't tried to hassle him he would have walked off with a bargain a long time before Jock got that news.

Well done Jock and a round of applause for Andy.

 Batman Year 1 is definatley worth a read. Every thing that you can get of Will Eisner's. Understanding Comics by Scott McCloud because everyone should read it. The complete Lone Wolf And Cub and find out where Frank Millar got his influences from.....talking of which there's the original Wolverine graphic novel by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. The Complete Akira Series is amust. Marvels by Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross a look at superheroes from a man on the streets perspective. 300 by Frank Miller his take on the Spartans. Daredevil by Kevin Smith, prepare to be shocked.

Try 30 days of Night next time. Stunning book. Agree with your other assesments but not Fables.Have been following that since day 1 and it gets better and better.

Also try the Sandman books. Neil Gaimen what a great writer.

I chose Sweetums and Robin (you can just about see him!) Because they are the coolest Muppets ever. I just love the Muppets because of they're mad anarchy and i'm mad and sometimes a bit anarchic!

Someone asked about the LOEG film. If you don't worry about the comics then it's a good rollicking film. It is what it is don't look to deeply and you won't be disapointed.

Nothing important to add except Yeah! volume 3 i want it NOW!
