I loved this bit;

"Jurassic Park lost heavily in the area of Wanton Violence/Crime, particularly toward children."

Imagine them reviewing the story of Hansel & Gretel.....

And then there's this;

"Of particular offense in the Sex/Homosexuality Investigation Area was inappropriate touching of a minor child by an adult. There is no need for any male actor, adult or otherwise, to touch the chest or groin area of a preteen girl, even in the name of Hollywood-style rescue -- this was not real life, it was a movie. Neither is there ever any need to reveal such a large portion of a preteen girl's breast as was seen twice in Jurassic Park"

Now either they got Gary Glitter to review it or the guy was watching the porn version by mistake.

But if you want a real laugh look up the review of Saving Private Ryan.

Film & TV / Re: Bogie Man

They didn't just try and change the character.

WARNING: Those who still have nightmares of this 'TV Programme' should scroll past now!

Last warning.....

If your still reading it's your own fault.

The ending, the chase through the streets of Glasgow with the truck crashing into Central Station sending frozen turkeys everywhere whil 'Bogie' puts the girl on the train to Carstairs and gives her the Casablanca speech? That was cut, probably for budget and location reasons. But that was gone. I think it ended in the cemetary instead.

Casting. Bogie played by Coltrane? It's like getting Russell Crowe to play Ali or Hugh Grant to play Bond. McCurdie, the bad guy who should have been played by the late great Rikki Fulton was played by Midge 'Ultravox' Ure. Says it all really.

The story was sliced to ribbons. I think the writer delibrately went through the issues and ignored or removed the funny bits, maybe out of jealousy.

It doesn't even rate as so bad it good. Avoid it, even if someone offers it on Ebay as rare.
