Old Newspapers? Top Hats? More Inspector Morse?

I can't help but look what people have bought off eBay in the past.

I'd managed to forget that my computer at work broke on Friday, so now I'm having to do 2 days work in 1 day AND do all the prep stuff for later in the week as I've booked Thursday and Friday off to go galivanting around Brighton.

6 days work in 3 days? F*ck you, proper job.

Why in a world where everyone has ear-pods was there a convenient slot for a mobile phone on the dashboard of the Big CyberMan computer? I have trouble finding a charger that fits my phone in this reality...

The Department Store website that's part of Alternate-Mickey's Who Is Doctor Who game this week has a book on sale called "The Light of the Moon", the only book that doesn't tie directly in to the next episode. Just to add fire to the Moon conspiracy.

Also POSSIBLE SPOILERS

Tardisode for next week has a voice-over saying "Incompatible versions - delete!" Possibly implying the Cybermen aren't quite the mindless drones of Trigger, perhaps?

Well, I hope at least.

Hugh DoVooDoo is desperately trying to scrape enough XP for Free Running, then he's gonna crawl across from Shuttlenbank to Pitneybank. Someone add me to the wiki?

Slater was in a Jar that looked a lot like the one Ravne was created in. So maybe this is an imposter Slater? If he was under Ravne's control he could use him to get close to Kostabi.

And in Weird War Tales, creating doppelgangers of prominent Allied Leaders was something Superkommandant Thule were already up to.

Quick brain teaser:

Robbie Morrison strip, published by Rebellion, seven letters, starts with 'S' and ends with 'RA', and it's about a futuristic main character who's tough as old boots, who faces a motley assortment of super-villians led by someone described as "the greatest assassin" - the first story ran its course, and the strip has been treading water ever since. The art's still good, but there's still that rubbish dialogue that Frank Miller would be proud of to let the side down.

Any guesses?

I got some weak answers for you.

"Didn't the Dalek Invasion of Earth follow the collapse of cililisation brought about by the end of a TV news channel, or the proliferation or Reality TV or something? How did that work then?"

They were using the flimsy premise of Lethal Reality TV games to steal people and turn them into Daleks.

"Those aliens who keep invading Cardiff: What was their actual motivation, and how did they get their unfeasibly large bodies crammed into human-sized skins?"

They wanted to nuke the Earth into radioactive chunks and sell it as space fuel. They had some kind of matter compressor things that made them fart a lot.

"What was the actual reason to suggest Captain Jack was bisexual?"

Because those crazy 51st (or whatever century) folks will nail anything - vegetable, animal or mineral. They are the most uber of uber-liberalis.

I never promised they'd be anything other than "weak".
